Have all the AFC West head coaches do 50 pushups, run a mile, then some squats. I bet Pete Carroll blows the others outta the water. Everyone should hope they're in great shape at 73 like Pete

Question is whether he's willing to leave Ole Miss and/or he's willing to come to the Raiders again.

I don’t know why everybody keeps bringing up Russell Wilson. I’m pretty sure Pete was still the head coach when they got rid of Russell Wilson in Seattle.
No team has ever hired a coach this age. Spin it all you want, I’ll look at the positives and hope for the best, but we’re in uncharted waters.
I hear you. The charted waters we been with 1st time HCs and failed HCs has not been successful.
This uncharted path is now being headed by someone with a successful record and can't be any worse than what we have had over the past 20+ years.

Kiffin was forced to finally grow up when he was humiliated repeatedly. He found some sense of how badly he had screwed up and started taking his job seriously and stopped believing the legend of Kiffin. Silver spoon motherf[raiders_icon]cker got his due. Now he is a great coach who is dedicated to his craft. I would take him in a heartbeat. But no, he is not going to Vegas. Pete needs to poach Tommy Rees as our OC, the guy is under the radar but ready. and get Hazlett for DC (I know I know, he is old too but he can scheme defenses)

Sixteen of Carroll's assistant coaches became NFL or NCAA head coaches.
I'm pretty sure Pete Carroll pitched a successor plan for when he leaves, a 3 year contract most likely proves it.
