How many nationally televised games does the PC hire get the Raiders?
Bring back Gruden for the OC position.....
The Gruden dream lives on.
What exactly leads you believe that an egomaniac like Gruden would accept being a coordinator?
Unless of course you're talking about Jay Gruden.
The thing that bogles my mind about Gruden is he coached with Reid and under Holmgren. Sean Mcvay coached under him, yet Gruden's offenses were not as dynamic as any of them.
Also the Callahan run offense was much more productive and innovative compared to when Jon ran it.
If Gruden ran an offense like Holmgren, Reid or McVay then yeah bring him back.
How bout Mike McCarthy? That could be a dynamic duo.

"The popular criticism of Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin could also apply to Carroll, a former Super Bowl champion whose teams regularly win but haven't truly competed for a title in a while."
I would love to be able to criticize a coach for that.

Haven’t been this happy and confident about a head coaching hire by this team in a long time. His players will go through a brick wall for him because he’d go through a brick wall for his players. His players loved him in Seattle. Now go get a QB, nail this draft and capitalize on all that cap space and we’re in business. The AFC West is going to be a survival of the fittest.

If there was ever a hire that would make a player tell their agent "get me on that team" it is the combination of Carroll and Vegas. America's Adult Playground coupled with the NFL's biggest kid? Get the f[raiders_icon]ck outta here.
Damn, I just sipped the Koolaid....
