Geno is going to break the spirit of this defense and then we’ll pick in the top 3

Kenny Pickett is going to have a real chance of being our QB really soon. Smith has been absolutely horrible 3 weeks in a row now.

The biggest problem isn't going to be Geno. It's: is Carroll going to have enough guts to bench Geno?
Carroll knows this has to be on the table as a possibility. Whether he can stomach the decision which is best for the team?

Shit, if we’re doing wishes, I wish we’d start drafting QB’s in the 1st. 18 years is f[raiders_icon]cking long enough.

Here’s my thoughts on Geno Carr:
Was a THREE YEAR starter in Seattle
John Schneider refused to extend him with a new contract
In a QB DRIVEN league, they traded their three year starter for a measly third. This had red flags all over it, but the super genius Spytek thought he outthought ppl. Dude got fleeced and somewhere John Schneider is laughing.

I’m not done with Spytek yet. Carroll, who I’m losing faith in, has his fingers all over the move. I think with more time Spytek will have firmer footing and a stronger say on the players drafted and/or picked up in FA. Just my opinion.Oaktown Superman wrote: Sun Sep 28, 2025 5:36 pm Here’s my thoughts on Geno Carr:

Geno is ass but at this point the Season is over so what is the point of putting in the likes of AOC who you know isn’t the future?

Yeah. For the first time since McKenzie, let's stick with a GM for more than a year or two. Let Old Man River finish out his stint and then let Spytek pick the next HC. The worst that can happen won't be any different from the last 20 years.GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Sun Sep 28, 2025 5:40 pm I’m not done with Spytek yet. Hmm. I hadn't thought of that. We'd be 2-2 with O'Connell right now. ... damn; already thinking of the offseason and how winning a few more games will screw us in the draft.RaiderandBulldog wrote: Sun Sep 28, 2025 5:54 pm Geno is ass but at this point the Season is over so what is the point of putting in the likes of AOC who you know isn’t the future?

He needs to fire his son before worrying about benching Geno.Willmark wrote: Sun Sep 28, 2025 4:38 pm The biggest problem isn't going to be Geno. It's: is Carroll going to have enough guts to bench Geno?

He should have THE say on players drafted. Coaches are coaches... not GM's.GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Sun Sep 28, 2025 5:40 pm I’m not done with Spytek yet.
