Saints hold his rights. He has to go through them for any moves within the NFL.

I personally believe he will make a comeback in the future as he has hinted.
He will look great until he gets punched in the mouth again and then continue his full fetal ways. Phony

Of course he'll try, whether a team is dumb enough to show interest in a Turd who quit on 2 teams remains to be seen...He was sooooo happy to be a Saint, people were saying they should easily win the division and a playoff spot  .....Allen got canned (again) so the kid gloves were gonna come off as well as having to compete as they made it clear they were drafting a QB.

Guy is a complete fraud, always has been and is all about himself, not willing to do whatever it takes to win...

Imo the only reason he gave the 30m back was in hopes of making a comeback and the Saints letting it happen...

Whatever happened to that season ending injury that required surgery that forced him to retire???Hmm,no surgery yet but will likely put out some feelers behind closed doors hoping someone wants him next off season...

Again I'd love to hear your excused for him retiring due to needed surgery...Highly doubt we'll get a response. :paperbag:

Here is an interesting take. The legend of Carr was born from the swagger of Del Rio. We would not have been 6-2 after the Bucs game if Jack is not pulling out all the stops. Going for wins by going for 2. Going for it on 4th and long in OT (Roberts made a helluva play on that pass) and on and on. And the fall of Carr was born from the lack of swagger of Del Rio the very next year. He got propped up a bit in the Covid year with us making the playoffs but he never recovered from 2017 and that is the book on Carr. He needed a guy who played on emotion to get his best and when that emotional leader failed to replicate, he ended up folding.

I doubt he ever comes back, it just seems he is way to distracted. He is doing his preaching gig, doing his videos and trying to bolster his legacy with the podcasts and such. I don't think he has the time to actually come back and give it 100%.

I don't know. For years I said he sucked as a starter but would be the best backup QB in the league, which is the best job on the planet BTW.

As an aside, how f[raiders_icon]cking awful is this team that we've found a way to go back and kick this turd around?

The Turds ego would never allow himself to be a backup QB....He never wanted to have to compete for a starters job...He was handled with kid gloves his whole career and when he finally wasn't he took his ball and went home...Twice!

14-27 since jettisoning Carr. Saints are 1-15 without him in 2024 and 2025. Combined record of 15-42!

The fan base looks back at QBs like the Mad Bomber (one of my favorites), Snake (my dad's favorite), Plunkett, and Gannon, and only views the W-L record without realizing how stacked those rosters were. Snake could throw 4 INTs and still tie. Carr could fumble once, and it was game over. Hell, Al's teams were so stacked that Marc Wilson went 31-19.

Carr never played with a roster 60% as good as those teams. We haven't had a complete team since 2002, and the results show it. ONE ABOVE DEFENSE in points since 2002 (2023). We traded Mack (his best buddy). Dennis Allen shoved him into starting duty on a terrible team.

Strip away 2014 (hopeless year that no rookie QB was winning with and a season where he shouldn't have started until Week 13) and 2018 (burn it down year), and he has a winning record with this franchise.

For all the RF claims that his production was easily replaceable, a bunch of veteran QBs and winners (Jimmy G!) proved otherwise. But hey, the same group thought Carson Strong was worth a first round pick.

We know how stacked the rosters were.

We also know that none of those guys would have played with the lack of grit and determination that we saw for 9 years. And no, I do not look at just their records. I remember watching each of those guys play the game. Don't tell us older fans what we do or do not remember.

And records? You don't modify them to save a player the reality that goes with the player.

Also, who thought Carson Strong was a first rounder? You like to lump all of the Anti Carr fans into one group.

How many 4th and FK it did the Raider greats have? The Turd wouldn't even have chosen pro ball as a career back in their eras.....No heart,No leadership,No toughness,No desire to win when the going gets tough........The Turd was all about himself, always was always will be and he chose the Saints who had plenty of weapons in a weak division and still couldn't get it done.

Never seen a QB have so many excuses while promoting himself whenever possible...And according to his brother he had more than enought resources to get the job done!
