Geno shouldn't have been out their on the missed FG drive. The face they ran 4 straight run plays led me to believe they knew he couldn't make a play. Not saying Pickett would have fared better but what was already a failing offense was made to be much worse with an injured QB.

Half the sacks he's taking are because he's hanging onto the ball too long. He requires the perfect scenario of a clean pocket to succeed and that's just not practical in the NFL. This is basically like watching Aaron Brooks in Silver & Black all over again

We need a QB that is mobile and understands how to get out of the tackle box so that he can just throw the ball away if he has to. Geno isn't that guy.

For the entire two plays he was out there, Pickett look like he was about to shit his britches.DeathStar24 wrote: Fri Nov 07, 2025 5:22 am Geno shouldn't have been out their on the missed FG drive. I'm no Geno fan, but he's the best of the bad bunch we have.

No way. We know Geno's a temp/bridge, not a six year long lump of fool's gold.BoJacksonRules wrote: Fri Nov 07, 2025 5:35 am I already hate him more than the one that shall not be named

Yeah I'm not sure he's better than AOC at this point.Opoponax50 wrote: Fri Nov 07, 2025 8:05 am For the entire two plays he was out there, Pickett look like he was about to shit his britches.

Aidans qbr each of the last two seasons are 41 and 46. His ratings were 84 and 86. Poor numbers. Genos qbr is 34 and qb rating 81. Hes been the worst qb in the league outside of dillon Gabriel and cam ward, two rookies struggling. He is that bad.

Exactly this. He has zero pocket presence and literally runs into sacks. I get that the Oline is atrocious, but it’s not a secret. Every team in the league knows.Oaktownonly wrote: Fri Nov 07, 2025 7:55 am We need a QB that is mobile and understands how to get out of the tackle box so that he can just throw the ball away if he has to. Chip needs to find a way to have him get rid of the ball quicker and make it mandatory that Bowers is his first read. Even when the guy is covered he’s open.

Geno's processing is just too slow. The offensive line hasn't been great but if you look at offensive line metrics, the Raiders are far from the worst pass protection this season. He's just not getting rid of the ball fast enough. Jeanty had become a factor in the passing game of late but last night Geno was holding on the ball waiting for patterns to develop downfield which is a bad idea against the sack leaders of the NFL. Kelly should have had a game plan based on getting the ball out of the QB's hands quickly so they either both failed or Geno failed. Either way it's another week of offensive ineptitude for the B&B Offense V2.

You’re 100% right, I can’t explain it, it makes no sense, but that’s how I feel.Opoponax50 wrote: Fri Nov 07, 2025 8:06 am No way. We know Geno's a temp/bridge, not a six year long lump of fool's gold.
