At least we’ll have something to watch though this offence seems to be broken on the personnel side. Kelly certainly had his own issues, I just don’t know that there’s a scheme that works with the worst o-line I’ve ever seen, a QB who sucks under pressure, and receivers that can’t get open.Attyla wrote: Mon Nov 24, 2025 1:09 pm We are about to learn if if was Geno and Jeanty or was it Chip? I expect both should show some improvement now that the switch has been made

NFL playbooks are huge so I’m not worried about that…my concern was not designing plays for Brock when it’s an obvious mismatch…and also knowing our line is the worst in the league and trying to adapt to that.

They obviously need to dumb down the playbook cause guys aren’t even sure who to block.

Geno would be ok if it was Tecmo Bowl 1. Tecmo Bowl 2 would be too complicated.DSOTM wrote: Mon Nov 24, 2025 5:43 pm Raiders should use the raiders playbook from Tecmo Bowl. That might be too complex though

To be fair, did he mistakenly think it was 3rd down?Tatum wrote: Mon Nov 24, 2025 7:03 pm yes he was, to avoid an INT on his stats, he'd throw it out of bounds on 4th and game

Which time? I think he did it more than once.Cruisin with Tooz wrote: Mon Nov 24, 2025 7:14 pm To be fair, did he mistakenly think it was 3rd down?
He also called timeout once, coming off of their last timeout which ended up a penalty and a clock run off for the game if I recall correctly.
For clarification, he called two timeouts back to back without the ball being snapped

Also QB’s who threw for 4000 yards…
Blake Bortles
Andy Dalton
Jameis Winston
Blake Bortles has won a playoff game though, so if Carr was “elite”, Bortles not being in the HOF is a terrible injustice.
