2026 Draft - Raiders & all teams (April 23-25)
Obvious Mendoza #1 no consideration of trading that pick.
But who you got picks 2 - 4 thats going to help Mendoza.
#2 Raiders should be able to select WR Chris Bell or WR KC Concepcion with our early 2nd.
#3 I forget who it was, but someone here mentioned that the best pure dominant RT coming out of college could be got in the 3rd. And stated hes played his whole career at RT, and not being moved around the line.
Sounds like solid gets
Id hope the rest of the draft is building the trenches, with maybe 1 DB in there
Who else you like ?

I like Linderbaum a lot, but spending OT type money on a Center, when we already have one seems like a waste of resources that could better used on other position groups. I’m not saying the OLINE doesn’t need to be addressed. I think we will bring in 4 new players, just not sure the mix of draft vs FA.

We don't know if the new staff is gonna put JPJ at center. I do think that's his best position but I'm scarred from those idiots last year.BoJacksonRules wrote: Sun Feb 08, 2026 8:38 am I like Linderbaum a lot, but spending OT type money on a Center, when we already have one seems like a waste of resources that could better used on other position groups. I'd rather have Linderbaum at Center and JPJ at at Guard. I'm not saying JPJ can't play Center. I just think he will get injured and then we're f[raiders_icon]cked for that position. Besides, I'd rather have JPJ's attitude and mauler instinct playing Guard.But..... that is Kubiak's call.BoJacksonRules wrote: Sun Feb 08, 2026 8:38 am I like Linderbaum a lot, but spending OT type money on a Center, when we already have one seems like a waste of resources that could better used on other position groups. I hear you, but in my opinion he looked very average at Guard, and seemed above average at Center. But as long as the team bring in several studs and builds an above average Oline that’s all that really matters.Dr Death wrote: Sun Feb 08, 2026 9:39 am I'd rather have Linderbaum at Center and JPJ at at Guard. I agree wholeheartedly but the #1 ability is availability.BoJacksonRules wrote: Sun Feb 08, 2026 9:50 am I hear you, but in my opinion he looked very average at Guard, and seemed above average at Center. Agreed, but...... we have to remember who the O line coach was. It seemed like none of the guys on the O line knew what the hell they were supposed to do. Last year's O line play is a complete mystery. We'll see if these guys are really bad or if they were just f[raiders_icon]cked right out of the gate.BoJacksonRules wrote: Sun Feb 08, 2026 9:50 am I hear you, but in my opinion he looked very average at Guard, and seemed above average at Center. Everyone talking about getting a No.1 WR but i think with what Kubiak likes running we are more in need of a guy who can play that H-Back role.
We need OL but we also need that HB that can be a great lead blocker like Ouzts has been in Seattle.
Bowers, Tucker & Thornton can all stretch the field
Bowers, Mayer & Bech have the under covered
Then we have Jeanty who has good hands although we haven’t seen that in full yet
We have receivers we just haven't utilised them to the fullest of there abilities
We need OL, DL & LB more that we need WR, i think WR is a position we could fix next year with a top pick

Agree with this 99.9%. I do think Mendo’s teammate Cooper would be a nice get in the 3rd. We don’t have a big YAC guy, and the comfort for Mendo would be nice for his first year.CWood24 wrote: Mon Feb 09, 2026 2:26 am Everyone talking about getting a No.1 WR but i think with what Kubiak likes running we are more in need of a guy who can play that H-Back role.

I’m defo not against drafting a guy like Cooper but if we draft a WR I’d like another big bodied possession type such as Malachi Fields or Chris Bell to pair with Bech for those physical matchupsGoodTimeCharlie wrote: Mon Feb 09, 2026 2:53 am Agree with this 99.9%. For me this draft is a strong LB draft so surely we can finally draft one just like we’re finally getting another QB after all these years

Before worrying about what The Raiders must have needs are, we should wait to see what the entire coaching staff looks like and what their strengths have been in the past.

I think that 2nd rounder has to be a DT or needs to be packaged to move up for a DT.
Peter Woods is my pipe dream but I see him mocked at several spots in the first round.

DT or MLB is probably the next spot I try to fill. Get the leader on offense with the first, the defense next.Be_Easy_25 wrote: Mon Feb 09, 2026 9:53 pm I think that 2nd rounder has to be a DT or needs to be packaged to move up for a DT.

.....and despite the worst in league o line coaching, our rookies last year were higher picks for a reason, and seemed like they were considered to have been good picks at the time, so that, along with the fact that one of the things most rookie o lineman most need to do is 'get stronger', and that they always seem to get a lot of that done after the first season, while I do see the need for a least one quality free agent, and probably at least one high pick, i'm glass half full on the o line and think that that unit can be turned around quickly.Dr Death wrote: Sun Feb 08, 2026 10:32 am Agreed, but...... we have to remember who the O line coach was.
