I could see that being the case too. I'm officially rooting against the Ravens!Jeevo wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 6:51 pm Ravens look more like a team that’s descending, rather than ascending, to me.

I’m not a Max hater but he also has had his knee cut on more than once now and turning 29. I think his decline is sooner rather than laterpfish57 wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 7:13 pm But he had the same D coach for many years, and now he is going to a perrinal winner that let their HC walk & has a whole new coaching staff...I think we might just win on this Deal!

Is there anything on defense?
Literally, the defense is nothing. A ball of clay.
Could this be one of the worst defensive rosters ever put out on an NFL football field?

Didn't say we should take him. I noted he's right around that portion of the draft if the FO decided to go that route.

A bit early to make that assumption. Free agency and draft may yield 8 new starters.Be_Easy_25 wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 7:16 pm Is there anything on defense?

my first reaction:
although the compensation seems pretty good (better than 2 end-of-first-round picks) Mendoza will be the „face of the Franchise“ going forward and therefore i‘m still excited. Maxx didn‘t kick up a fuss - at least not like others have in the past - like publicly demanding a trade - and that helped net the organization two 1st. if we quash those picks - like we did the picks from the Mack-Trade - we will be worse. if Spytek and the entire new regime hit on those picks we could be better. time will tell, but for now i personally am a bit sad. i love Maxx as a player. still do. always will. A LOT. on the field he emphasimizes everything you wish for as a fan. but i believe he really he wanted out - and after all the regimes changes - i can‘t even blame him.
i still wished he would have given it one more shot with Kubiak + Mendoza.
personally i wish him well and now we look to the future.

Yeah, I love having another team’s first, gives you a second team to cheer for. Cheering for their demise, but still cheering.NoThanksSir wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 7:15 pm I could see that being the case too. I'm officially rooting against the Ravens!

The good news is we have the most cap space in the league and lot of good guys on D have been released or not resigned.

Draft and develop, don’t sign expensive, flashy types. Carry space over and build from the bottom up.

Only owing 5.1 million for his contract and it looks to be carry over from his previous? That's huge.

A top 10 pick in next year’s draft doesn’t sound half bad either.

We have the cap space & picks to turn this turd into filet mignon if the new regime makes the right choices, and so far they are doing a great job!!! Might even pull a Patriots season???
