...I was at an early season bills game a few years ago, one I mentioned here as it was against Miami, and i'm sitting on the end seat to the isle and I look up and Dan Marino was walking by me with his 2 security dues, like 4 fee from where I was sitting. ...It was a bills / Miami game and I was behind the maimi bench, 50 yard line, 6 rows up, free tickets, last minute, and he had apparently just visited the Miami bench, and was going upon to his press area, just caught me off guard as I had just sat down, looked at my phone, looked up and there he is walking by me. ....anyway, that was the worst sunburn I had had in years, and this is coming from a guy who my dad used to call (when are you going to get a hair cut) Cochise in the summer, due to the long hair and dark shin.

Imagine a Raiders fan in high heat after partying all weekend in Vegas. It's just a bad combo. I really the like new stadium and how comfortable it is. The Vegas weather has been perfect for every game I've attended so far which allows walking the to the strip etc.
IF there is ever major rain at the end of a game thousands of people are getting soaked on that bridge walk back to the hotel.

I usually wear my cargo shorts until about mid December to mid February.raider_kin wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2026 4:49 pm I live in So Cal and its the rain that causes so much chaos.
And yeah, it gets below 50 here and I'm in 3 layers, a jacket, sock hat and gloves.![]()

The first time it hit 50 (about a week ago) it was like all the bears were coming out of hibernation. Everyone was out.

At work we have a contest going for how long before the snow pile in the parking lot melts. This year was damn impressive in terms of height.
...I'll bet you guys got more snow this year. (?)....I usually get a lot in east Clarence's because I am on the end of one of those lake snow bands that often reaches out to me from orchard park, elma, lancaster......but I do inspections, and am all over, and Niagara falls actually may have got more snow than I did this year, which is not usual, and I sort of picture where you are having that same dynamic from Ontario, as the falls does from lake Erie....
...the winds were often approaching the area a little differently this year, more often directing the heavier snows a bot differently....

I do have Viking blood in me however, and it does thicken in the cold weather. Went to South Dakota for Xmas a few decades back, was 5 or so for a few days (we didn;t go out much) After 4 or 5 days I had acclimated so much that when it warmed up to 45 I was out in a light, short sleeved shirt and comfortable. 45 here at home and I have to sit in front of a space heater.Willmark wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2026 4:52 pm I usually wear my cargo shorts until about mid December to mid February.
