Thumbs down option would get rid of 20% of the posts, which are telling people why they are wrong.

In that case maybe there shouldn't be a "high five" option either.

Other way around, only 20% of posts would be left

Again, he’s 5th in sacks and 2nd in QB hits and first in pressures (may have the last two reversed) since 2019. To me it’s pretty hard to say that isn’t elite.

I think it's safe to say there's some better sack artists than Maxx. In my mind at least 5. However, Maxx is very consistently just a pain in the ass for any offense. He consistently f[raiders_icon]cks over their ground game and he pretty consistently can get a pass rush going. Especially when healthy. I've seen multiple times Joe Alt stone wall Maxx all game long. All in all Maxx has proven to be elite. In my opinion, he's going to benefit from a 34/33 front as a stand up/move around guy. He's a better pass rusher when he can attack from different areas

One guy that comes to mind as a sack artist was Yanick Ngakue. However you spell his name. Drafted by the Jags some time back. He had something like 5-6 straight years of 8+ sack seasons with multiple teams. He could not play the run worth a damn and would often get stone walled most the game. The thing with speed rushers like that is many tackles struggle with those guys. So a moment in a game the tackle gets tired or sloppy and the speed rusher cashes in.

I'll take a guy like Maxx who is overall elite over someone like a Yanick every day of the week and twice on Sunday. I'm not sure I've ever seen a freak like Maxx who maintains his intensity every single snap all game long. It's like he's a terminator robot

I think being top 5 in those categories coupled with his run stuffing skills would make him elite. And the argument that he does it with a ton more snaps to me is really not valid.

Tim Brown says hello. He was one of my fav Raiders ever, and also was perhaps one of the classiest Raider ever.

Sacks aside, I don't know how many times I've seen Maxx completely blow up a running play or a screen.

Unfortunately, often times people have already developed an opinion about a player and in order to justify their position, they scurry off and start googling for anything they can cherry pick to bolster their stance.
This is the wrong way to form an opinion, and instead, they should first do their homework and then and only then, develop an accurate and educated opinion.

Hand guns as well as stats, in the wrong hands can be for lack of a better word, "dangerous".

Thumbs up or thumbs down

If you get 5 or more thumbs up on an individual post you get rewarded silver bucks

Conversely if you get 5 thumbs down you get docked silver bucks

Increments of 5 in same post is the bar

I might add that observationally speaking, I have seen that happen. And it is equally unfortunate when someone has made a determination that a player has committed an unforgivable crime, no matter how much data is pressed their way, they will dismiss it.

...tim brown always annoyed me by whining constantly for penalties, and he obviously annoyed refs too, as they began to not give actual legit penalties to us due to all of the constant whining.
