2026 Draft - Raiders & all teams (April 23-25)
Obvious Mendoza #1 no consideration of trading that pick.
But who you got picks 2 - 4 thats going to help Mendoza.
#2 Raiders should be able to select WR Chris Bell or WR KC Concepcion with our early 2nd.
#3 I forget who it was, but someone here mentioned that the best pure dominant RT coming out of college could be got in the 3rd. And stated hes played his whole career at RT, and not being moved around the line.
Sounds like solid gets
Id hope the rest of the draft is building the trenches, with maybe 1 DB in there
Who else you like ?

I think Spytek will try to trade down a few times in this draft at some point, he seems to like wheeling and dealing during the drafts.

I think they should trade up a couple times and try to secure 2 more starters.
Depth is great and all but we need starters first before depth. My 2c

The first day of the draft is going to be strange.
All the hoopla on Mendoza to the Raiders and then its sit back and see what Spy does. Will he move up or do we wait till day two?
Who will everyone else draft on day one while we wait. Especially the AFC west teams.
And at the end of day one who will be sitting there for us at 36? And how pissed will we be for beating KC in game 17?

Nice use of the visits. Players you can draft late that make the team

No, I'd say you could be 100% correct and that is why there is little to no interest in him. It could also be he's asking for to much money right now. I'm just saying I hope we can find a way to work out a deal for him in that scenario and draft people under to work and learn and spot play. In my world that would be ideal, as we can't possibly fill everything wrong with this team in one off-season.
I'd love to draft a lot of guys in rounds 2-3 but the reality is, I'd 100% like to find long term solutions to our OL to protect our #1 investments the past few seasons and keys to our future success.

At his age, having played LT his whole career, Decker is probably making the right decision by not wanting to switch to RT. He'll probably struggle there when he'd be decent at LT. He is better off just waiting for a LT job and he'll get one if he wants. Switching sides isn't that easy.

agree 100 pct, not that simple to switch positions at the end of your careerchucker wrote: Mon Mar 30, 2026 5:59 pm At his age, having played LT his whole career, Decker is probably making the right decision by not wanting to switch to RT. Thing is, scanning reputable big boards out there, it appears there are about 10 solid offensive line guys with 1st round to top 2nd round talent in the draft before a drop off where the rest of them seem to be 3rd round selections and below. IF... other teams start gobbling up offensive lineman in the first round do you move up to get one or hang on and hope a couple of those guys that are on your board are there at pick 36. I could certainly see if Bernard or Boston are there staring at you in the face it would be a tough decision to pass on one of those guys. Especially IF the OL or DL at that spot isn't all that enticing. Our 2nd selection will be interesting indeed.CWood24 wrote: Mon Mar 30, 2026 9:40 am A true No.1 WR right now is somewhat of a luxury for us when we desperately need to build the trenches because that is where we’ll win games, if an elite WR falls for some reason then yeah we should take him
Bowers is our no.1 option, people seem to be forgetting that he finished 8th in yards in his rookie season that is considered abnormal.
We have arguably THE best TE room in the NFL with Bowers & Mayer, two WR who are great route runner on Nailor & Bech ( small sample size but Bech looked good when we saw him), two real deep threat in Tucker & Thornton plus Jeanty who is a top tier dual threat RB
Mendoza has better options than people think but he needs protection & guys on the other side of the ball who can put the ball back in his hands
OL & DL for me are the biggest needs & we’re in a real deep class for both
Pete may have done us a favour last year not playing the young guys as much cause it has gave them a year to a to acclimatise to the NFL, fingers crossed last year ineptitude has work in our favour & Spytek has stock piled some young talent

I 100% guarentee our 2nd round pick is OL. DT, WR or another position.

A very good and interesting discussion with John Spytek. I am really liking this guy as the Raiders GM. He seems very intelligent, well spoken and personable with all his conversations. It looks like from this point in time that Tom Brady's recommendation was a very good one.
