Kudos to you, Sir!
Yeah, I have to admit that I was surprised at how easy it was for me to quit. Pretty much the same mental approach I took when I quit smoking about 30 years ago...I just told myself "I'm not doing this to myself anymore"...and it stuck.
I've noticed quite a few changes in my body and mental acuteness once I put down the beer and liquor, and believe it or not, I really don't miss it at all. Still have an unopened bottle of Patron' and a 1/2 gallon of Justerini & Brooks...now, when I see them in the pantry I just kinda smirk and close the door.

i only party like that twice a yr...the rest of the time im retired and kicking it watching and playing the markets
