How is this a good Idea in anyones notebook? Team got blown out last go round and the players on the team were upset with the pairings.

Tiger was on schedule to be the captain until his latest drug fueled crash.

I am getting sick and tired of our team getting blown up, and I just don't know what can be done. It's like they don't give a f**k about it. Who the hell knows who would be a good captain as long as the team is piss poor at match play.

Zinger was the last captain who had the pairings down real good, maybe try him again.

I think most changed when they gave the British team and changed it to the European team. That's what made the event somewhat even in the beginning as the American had been destroying the UK team every year.

Now I think the Euro team has the majority of great players and American team is outclassed. So maybe an idea would be to have the American team add Canada? Are there any good players in Canada?

Another idea would be to have North and South America which includes Canada go against the Europeans Western Hemisphere vs. Euro like back in the 1500's! Conquistador charge

Generally the US team has 5 or 6 guys in the top 20 of the rankings so I don't think it's that. The euros play more match play growing up, so more used to that. Plus the Americans don't seem to care about it as much. And the euros own the management side of it. Our side seems to make the same mistakes over and over again, especially as regards pairings.

Yes, the choices of team captains lately has been stupid, Keegan Bradley WTF? When I read him being chosen cap I couldn't believe it thought it a joke.

Hopefully Furyk does better this time. I'd like to see Azinger come back and do it again. He pulled it together when he was captain.

Agree the Euro's mindset toward the event is more match play experienced. But it was like that since the beginning and the American's destroyed the Brits and then Euro's. Just last 25 years it seems Euro taken over the event.

Don't know why I care anymore, haven't watched it for a number of years
