Around the NFL
No clue where to post some stuff not necessarily team related but could be? Feel free to delete if this belongs somewhere else.
Maxx and Parsons would be nasty. I probably wouldn’t pay the price though.

Aidan playing like ass outside of the Houston pre season game against 3rd 4th stringers probably ensured nobody would trade for him. The Patriots are likely the only team to offer up a 5th or 6th if something catastrophic happened to them due to the McDaniels connection

I suspect he will win on appeal. Ridiculous fine. NFL receives a ton of money from beer companies. They may not be happy giving a fine for pretend drinking.rich72 wrote: Thu Sep 24, 2026 2:28 pm Why would they fine him for that? They sell beer in the stadiums ffs.

Parham was always the whipping boy around here for some reason. Everyone else got a pass because of the coaching. He was always a solid run blocker

I think everyone got a fair number of poos flung in their direction, but Parham and Meredith (How’s he doin’ over there?) being around the longest (outside of Miller) received the most.FLORIDARAYDAH wrote: Thu Sep 24, 2026 3:23 pm Parham was always the whipping boy around here for some reason. Parham and Meredith fit the Jets’ wide-zone/RPO scheme better than Kubiak’s more outside zone/under center/heavy play-action. Plus size, or the lack of it, with both men. Smallish for Kubiak, but a terrible match for the power/gap style that use to be run here.
And has already been mentioned, awful awful dogshit clown-show f[raiders_icon]cking apocalyptically abysmal coaching.

What if? . . . . . a team offers The Raiders a 2nd round pick for Mike Washington Jr? Pull the trigger or tell them to pound sand?

So let me get this straight. A team is going to offer up a 2nd round pick for a guy, two games into his career where he has had 10 total rushing attempts for a total of 48 yards and zero scores. After being selected in the 4th round not 6 months ago. At a position that has been devalued in recent years.RickRyb wrote: Fri Sep 25, 2026 8:09 am What if? . . . . . a team offers The Raiders a 2nd round pick for Mike Washington Jr? Plausible.

Why on earth would anyone offer that? If someone did accept it before they sober upRickRyb wrote: Fri Sep 25, 2026 8:09 am What if? . . . . . a team offers The Raiders a 2nd round pick for Mike Washington Jr? Pull the trigger or tell them to pound sand?
