In regards to almond M&M's we can all agree that they are the bastard child of an Almond Joy bar. I don't feel so bad about derailing this thread as the original subject matter has been taken about as far as it can go, maybe...baring some weird event.

Your dad is a sick bastard, black licorice shouldn’t even be classified as candy. I swear you can melt the stuff down and patch holes in your roof with it.

I believe too much is actually toxic.

Black licorice is

My dad gobbled down Good & Plenty's back in the day

Seems like an easy way to collect life insurance if you have a family member who loves black licorice.

Almond Joy is such a trash candy. So is Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. And I could eat them both until I’m laying on the floor sick. Baby Ruth is another. Disgusting. Love them. F’n love Jelly Belly’s too.

Don’t eat any of them anymore. The only bastard that gets past my defenses is that Ben & Jerry’s New York Super Fudge Chunk.

And yeah, this thread needed a rebalancing of a truly important topic.

P.S. You haven’t had black licorice until you’ve tried a Northern European/Norwegian/Danish black licorice. It’s nightmare fuel. Flavored with salt and ammonia. Was hooked on them for about 6 months once upon a time.
