...on a similar note, hopefully post surgery, he didn't play those games as there is a process to giving ones self the best chance of healing properly.Corleone wrote: Sun Mar 01, 2026 3:15 pm I'll address Maxx since the topic is about him. Maxx was put on IR with two games to go, so the team could secure a generational QB talent, and immediately posted a video playing basketball as a way to say F You to the org, and tell the world he's healthy enough to play.
Knowing our luck, the league could have used this as an excuse to screw us for some made up BS violating the integrity of the league or some other crap, we are the Raiders after all. Fortunately for us, Maxx was indeed injured, and even better yet, NYG win along with our week 18 win completely erases any chance of that, even though it was always a very low chance of happening. Nevertheless, Maxx didn't want us to get Fernando Mendoza, and many think he's a dumb f[raiders_icon]cking idiot for that.
Besides that, he's a good player, although without the gaudy sack numbers you'd like to see from a premier edge.
It was a bucket list thing for me. I still have a few items to check off, one being swimming with sharks (in a cage of course)WNYRAIDER wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2026 6:39 am ...on a similar note, hopefully post surgery, he didn't play those games as there is a process to giving ones self the best chance of healing properly.
...regarding the jumping out of airplanes, a friend tried to trick me in to it but I wouldn't 'fall' for it...
Same here...certain movies, no matter how many times I've watched them, I will watch them again when they come on. Godfather 1 & 2, Pulp Fiction, Breakfast Club (it's a thing with me and my Son), Dead Poet's Society, The Last Of The Mohicans (the one with Daniel Day Lewis), Shawshank Redemption,...and I'm sure there are others that just don't come to mind right now>Attyla wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2026 4:49 am That movie was playing just the other day. There are certain movies I have to pause and watch when I am surfing and that one is at the top of my list
Not for nothing, but, whenever you are logged on to this site, you're "swimming with sharks."Attyla wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2026 8:03 am It was a bucket list thing for me. I still have a few items to check off, one being swimming with sharks (in a cage of course)
I just watched Godfather 1& 2 back to back about a week ago, Apocalypse Now was another one that moved me;)raidersince63 wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2026 8:45 am Same here...certain movies, no matter how many times I've watched them, I will watch them again when they come on. And I want to see big ass sharks too. Let's see, what else is on the list. I have eaten most the things on my list, Haggis, Oxtail, Urchin. I have one I want to try but it is expensive, that is to drive a Ferrari at high speeds on a track. Riding an elephant looks fun. Taking the mules down to the base of the Grand Canyon. Heard that trail is really narrow. I have already held an alligator by the tail. Have a tattoo. Been on a sub. Want to do a cave crawl, that looks like a blast. Catamaran ride, done that way out into the middle of the ocean. So, while I have a few years yet to do some stuff, I have already done some cool things.DanKD wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2026 8:48 am Its official, Attyla is insane. I understand sky diving but swimming with the sharks, heck no
...yeah, closest I ever came was when a kid I went to high school moved to Ohio from western New York, and came back to visit with his pilots license and his own small plane 2 year later, landing at a little filed, basically, air strip about 12 minutes away from me.Attyla wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2026 8:03 am It was a bucket list thing for me. If he gets traded, there is no rush. Teams may be willing to pay more the closer we get to the draft, especially once free agency begins to wind down and teams know what they lack.
Plus he has more recovery time and any team could have more confidence in his health.Attyla wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2026 9:53 am If he gets traded, there is no rush.
