Free agency opens March 11. CBS Sports has their top 50 ranking. No Raiders on the list. I am surprised at a couple rated high - Aaron Rodgers and Daniel Jones. Lots of wide receivers

I’m hoping we sign Salyer, IOL, LAC. I’ve sen him play 4/5 positions on Oline and play well. I thought he played better than their other OG (name escapes me) who just signed with another team. I’d love a solid young veteran from a division rival.

So who had the best first day? Obviously we are in there with some interesting pickups but there were teams that did some very interesting moves. Jets and Titans were very active as was the Saints.
I think the Rams crushed it. Between their trade and signings, they revamped their entire secondary.

Agreed, and Carolina did some nice things as well

I hope we sign Braden Smith. It would be a great sendoff to the draft. Then we could actually take BPA (or maybe trade down and get another 1st next season).

??? Gay's 2 best seasons came under Joe DeCamillis in LA in 2021-2022.
This signing concerns me. Hope the staff knows something we don't.

He won't be the only kicker we bring in

Packers released CB Nate Hobbs.
Hobbs had a dreadful injury-ravaged year with the Packers, and only started through Week 7. ESPN’s Rob Demovsky reports that this is a post-June 1 release, leaving Green Bay with $8 million in eventual cap savings this year. Hobbs, who signed a four-year contract with the Packers last offseason, feels like a candidate to start elsewhere in 2026 if healthy. He won’t factor into compensatory draft pick formulas since he was released and is only entering his age-27 season.
I'd bring Nate back

Yep, I think Salyer would be a great pickup. You are probably thinking of Johnson and yes, he was much better than him, I thought as well.

Hobbs won’t come “cheap” as he is a veteran and has made money. I’d rather spend way less on another younger FA or save it for UDFA or nabbing young vets cut later this year

Colts right tackle Braden Smith took a significant leave of absence at the end of the 2024 season due to a severe mental health crisis.
Diagnosis: In 2024, Smith was diagnosed with a form of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) called religious scrupulosity.
This condition caused him to experience debilitating, intrusive thoughts and compulsions related to his faith and moral standing.
Leave of Absence: On the day before Thanksgiving in 2024, the struggle became overwhelming, leading him to step away from the team.
He was placed on the Non-Football Illness (NFI) list and missed the final five games of the 2024 season.
Treatment: Smith sought intensive help, which included:
Inpatient Facility: He spent 48 days in a specialized mental health facility in Colorado.
Alternative Therapy: He traveled to Mexico for treatment with ibogaine and 5-MeO-DMT, substances he credited with "resetting" his brain and allowing him to find peace.
Return to Play: After his recovery, Smith returned for the 2025 season under a restructured contract.
He started 13 games in 2025 before suffering a concussion and neck injury in Week 14 that ended his season on Injured Reserve.
Out because my nephew plays next to him at RG and told me he did have mental struggles.

100% agree. How was TB's kicking game when Spytek was there? Digging deeper, Gay was drafted by TB in 2019 when Spyek was Director of Player Personnel, but he was cut before the season ended.

The receiver market was nuts.
The O line market too. Didn't Tunsil get 30/year? Ouch. Glad we got Linder though, very happy.
