From his NFL film so far, where he isn't smothered in the backfield, Jeanty's super power is getting low and leaning forward as he leads with with his shoulder right before contact. What is happening is the defender is going in for a proper wrap, but when they close their arms to wrap, his legs are too far back on the lean and the defender whiffs and he's then good at bouncing from that miss and keeps balance, it's pretty neat. If anything makes him special it seems that is it. Will film show this, probably and they'll attack him differently. I do worry about his durability, when he's attacked differently he seems pretty easy to man-handle, but he should still be bulking and getting stronger, he's gonna need it I think.raider_kin wrote: Fri Sep 19, 2025 7:18 pm My only question about Jeanty was did we have the line to maximize his skill set. And the answer is a resounding no.
Something wrong with you cuz. Why are you asking me a question when I already gave you the answer? No, Geno Smith WAS NOT successful with Pete Carroll in Seattle. They did not win shit. I laid that out pretty clearly but I forgot who I was dealing with here. Ok Twista?Hellbound wrote: Fri Sep 26, 2025 9:47 am Im not twisting shit. I asked if he and Caroll were successful in Seattle. You didn't answer that question at all and chose to turn shit into an argument. By the way since you are obviously oblivious to this, what you just stated is entirely an opinion. You're opinion doesn't turn anything into facts no matter how many caps lock words you use. But as usual you're acting like a toddler throwing a temper tantrum and causing arguments because someone posted something that you didn't agree with. Talk about someone's act getting tired.
18-17 in Seattle together and Atlasffa was posting stories written by hacks like Tashan gushing over their amazing partnership.BoKnows81 wrote: Fri Sep 26, 2025 10:12 am Something wrong with you cuz. Strawman. I clearly meant left Seattle, not in general.Hellbound wrote: Fri Sep 26, 2025 6:33 am So don't hire a hc that's been successful or trade for a qb that's been successful?
You must of missed the 30 yard dime he threw with 20 something seconds left to put them in FG range to WIN the game SMHLayneStaley wrote: Fri Sep 26, 2025 10:07 am Seattle won because of their run game, D, and being able to keep Darnold in a nice clean pocket so he could get his 18 completions for 240 and a TD. He’s a game manager. If he was more they would have let him throw on 3 & 7 towards the end of the game to ice it instead of running it up the middle on a give up play before the missed FG.
When you have a stacked team a game manager is fine, Darnold in Vegas means we would be 0-3.
He’s way more than a game manager. He was a big reason why they won in Pittsburgh. He gets the ball out way quicker than Geno. Ask the Seattle HC/fans who’d they rather have.LayneStaley wrote: Fri Sep 26, 2025 10:07 am Seattle won because of their run game, D, and being able to keep Darnold in a nice clean pocket so he could get his 18 completions for 240 and a TD. I live in Seattle and ALL my friends are Hawks fans and none think Darnold is the reason they are winning. They do think he’s not losing games but they also say this is the best line they’ve had since the Shaun Alexander years.Sloth_Fratelli wrote: Fri Sep 26, 2025 6:02 pm He’s way more than a game manager. Yes, the consensus thus far amongst the Seahawk faithful is that the team shelled out a lot of cash for a game manager.LayneStaley wrote: Fri Sep 26, 2025 6:23 pm I live in Seattle and ALL my friends are Hawks fans and none think Darnold is the reason they are winning. 4 games, 226 yards per game, 5 tds, 2 int, 1 fumble seems game managerish to me. Whatever though bottom line with our line he’d probably be hurt by now.
A game manager has us at 3-1, instead of 1-3.ToastPatterson wrote: Fri Sep 26, 2025 7:53 pm Yes, the consensus thus far amongst the Seahawk faithful is that the team shelled out a lot of cash for a game manager.
A lot of players turn into the worst version of themselves when they play for the Raiders. The Real CK wrote: Thu Oct 02, 2025 4:50 pm The pregame show is praising Adams for his veteran leadership and humbleness.
When Shitty G and Misshew are your QB, it happens.RaiderandBulldog wrote: Thu Oct 02, 2025 5:20 pm A lot of players turn into the worst version of themselves when they play for the Raiders.
