I wonder if top FA defenders are looking at the Raiders and thinking, nah I'll pass on this for now.BotesBoats wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 12:46 pm Pretty saddened not getting any of the somewhat larger named pass rushers available. Cameron Thomas is now off the market. Not really sure whos left that can genuinely make an impact to help replace Maxx's production numbers. I probably forgot a name or two available, but I've see a ton of names scooped up thus far.
Unless we're getting Hendrickson. But I would have assumed Linderbaum's large contract will take us out of the Trey race.
I would 100x rather play in LV than in Baltimore. They dont even have a dome, plus its Baltimore.haji81872 wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 11:26 am Sounds like Ravens offered Linenbaum 22-23 million a year. To sign him away we were going to have to trump that by quite a bit.
Oweh. Haven’t seen if he signed yet but would be a good additionBotesBoats wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 12:46 pm Pretty saddened not getting any of the somewhat larger named pass rushers available. I have a sneaky feeling JPJ never got the coaching he needed and it effected him in probably lots of ways. Making him look, to outsides, as ineffective. And that he'll start to turn a corner with proper coaches in place.chucker wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 12:46 pm I love to see JPJ react like this. I really like JPJ, just not at center. I hope he embraces being a beast at guard because I think he has the ability to be one of the best there if he stays healthy.

JPJ is a great player but so far he has been injured in both seasons. They need to make him wear a double helmet and im not kidding.BotesBoats wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 12:56 pm I have a sneaky feeling JPJ never got the coaching he needed and it effected him in probably lots of ways. I dunno, we basically swapped Crosby for Lindy and got 2 1st rounders to boot. "addition by subtraction"?BotesBoats wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 12:46 pm Pretty saddened not getting any of the somewhat larger named pass rushers available. Cameron Thomas is now off the market. As has been pointed out, we're probably at least 2-3 years away from being relevant again anyway, so even with FM, Lindy, and whatever additions we make before opening day, I've already pumped the brakes on my expectations for this year. If we win 8 or 9 games in 2026, I'll be "shickled titles."SkullCrusher wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 12:50 pm I wonder if top FA defenders are looking at the Raiders and thinking, nah I'll pass on this for now.
Or are we focusing more on getting one side right for now.
I'm not in love with Rogers (or Grant), but I think The Raiders know about as much of them as any rookie they'll draft. Spytek did draft them in the 3rd round last year.BoKnows81 wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 1:18 pm
60% of our line is established. Still not good enough yet. I now expect one of our top 2 picks to be a right tackle. I know you guys love you some Rogers n Grant but I'm not there yet.
My fear is that they were Carroll or a Chip Kelly picks. I hope I am wrongRickRyb wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 1:25 pm I'm not in love with Rogers (or Grant), but I think The Raiders know about as much of them as any rookie they'll draft. Spytek did draft them in the 3rd round last year.
