It’s that time of year for us to dog fight about who’s college team is better.
Best way to start it out IMO is with the preseason coaches poll that just dropped:
Preseason Coaches Poll
1.Ohio State
2.Oregon
3.Georgia
4.Texas
5.Notre Dame
6.Indiana
7.Miami
8.Texas A&M
9.Oklahoma
10.Ole Miss
11.Alabama
12.Texas Tech
13.LSU
14.USC
15.BYU
16.Michigan
17.Penn State
18.Tennessee
19.Washington
20.SMU
21.Utah
22.Iowa
23.Clemson
24.Houston
25.Missouri
We all know who are backing after that last few years but the 2026 season is almost upon us.
For my own part, this year is special I’m attending my first home game ever at ND on 9/12.

Mendoza's replacement at Indiana looked really good today. 13/16, 4TDs, and a QBR of 285.00.

Down goes Frazier! I love it when the opponent in these so called NCAA tune up games decides to flip the script. There will probably be a few for sale signs planted in Kyle Whittingham's front yard tonight.

I saw that. Looks like I spoke too soon.
I was following the gamecast on ESPN and it said end of the 4th before the second hail Mary heave. It's too bad Western Michigan was cheated out of the upset.
Frazier gets saved by the bell, or engineered Big 10 officiating.

Boy that was some shady ass hometown officiating there. Very questionable no calls on a obvious facemask, running into the punter, adding an extra second on at the end of the game.

That really sux. I hate to see those efforts get wasted by shoddy officiating.

Looks like they’ve got more athleticism at the skill positions on offense this year. “Turbo” takes the place of Cooper AND the backfield. Charlie B is gonna be a Raider. Still fast. Still tall. Exactly what we need with the bonus of having played with our starting QB next year. Marsh looked amazing with that one handed grab.
Don’t know if the D will be as good. It’s early, but they were getting peppered underneath. Ponds was nipping that in the bud last year.

Just watched the replay. That who series of events is very questionable. There should not have been an extra second tacked on to the play clock. Just another reason I am really starting to hate NCAA football.

Wow, Western Michigan got absolutely f[raiders_icon]cked without butter. That's so sad! That's blatantly wrong. The clock was zero's before it even touched anyone, still in air. I hope there's chaos over that & the win switched over. I've never in my life seen anything like that in a football game. If they can pull that BS they can do anything
