First Geno now Meredith. They must have their eyes set on someone at #1 in the draft.

its a good trade for the jets and raiders...meredith is a good backup plus a 7th and the raiders moved up a rd from 7th to 6th rd pick ...raiders got something for nothing

I see Dareke Young made the roster, every week there he was with the twos. With his size and familiarity with Kubiaks playbook guessing he will see sometime with him blocking for the running game.

Yeah, good catch. I have been wondering about this since they had Mendoza running with the 2's.

Ravens cut Rayshaun Benny DT. He was a 7th round draft pick out of Michigan. Had a great camp and was a fan favorite. Balt wants him to sign with the practice squad if he goes unclaimed

How much weight does fan favorite hold?

Player Stats

Raiders waived RB Roman Hemby.
Fresh off a national championship with the Hoosiers, Hemby was a “name” UDFA but couldn’t crack the Raiders’ suddenly deep backfield even after Ashton Jeanty’s ankle injury. He will be a candidate for the practice squad. Also waived/released by the Raiders were QB Jacob Clark, DT Brandon Cleveland, OL Braeden Daniels, LS Tyler Duzansky, FB Patrick Gurd, EDGE Jahfari Harvey, OT Niklas Henning, WR Shedrick Jackson, OT Isaish Jatta, S Devin Lafayette, DT Treven Ma’ae, K Kansei Matsuzawa, T Kamar Missouri, CB Caleb Offord, CB Devyn Perkins, C Will Putnam, DE Cian Slone, LB Xavian Sorey, DT Gary Smith, CB Greedy Vance, OT Dalton Wagner, WR E.J. Williams Jr., WR Phillip Dorsett, WR Brandon Johnson, LB Buddy Johnson, LB Cameron McGrone, TE Chris Myarick, RB Dare Ogunbowale, TE Albert Okwuegbunam, LB Segun Olubi and WR Deven Thompkins. - Patrick Daugherty

Colts waived DT Colby Wooden.
It’s a surprising release after Wooden was acquired in a 1-for-1 player swap with the Packers in March, but he evidently did not fit the system as expected. A 16-game starter for the Pack last season, Wooden could be a potential Monday waiver claim. If not, he should quickly land on someone’s practice squad, perhaps Indy’s. - Patrick Daugherty

this might be a target if we still need dt help

What is also of major part of this trade is the 7th we gave to the Jets is in 2029 and the 6th we got back from them is in next years draft 2027.

So the 6th from the Jets who will probably be lousy again this year will probably be a high 6th round pick almost a low 5th rounder.

While the 7th rounder they get from us isn't until 2029, when hopefully if everything goes to plan the Raiders will be a top playoff team and this 7th round pick will be at the end of the round. Very smart Spy
