Well there's a chance it would be better than 42 next year. That team is cursed and terribly ran.DanKD wrote: Tue Mar 03, 2026 1:58 pm Id guess theyd offer #42 and next years first which id probably pass on
Possibly but a healthy Burrow will win them more games even if they dont do much in the playoffs. Personally Id want a 1st this year though no matter what.BoKnows81 wrote: Tue Mar 03, 2026 2:06 pm Well there's a chance it would be better than 42 next year. That team is cursed and terribly ran.
10 & 42 and Im flying to Vegas to pack his bags myselfraidersince63 wrote: Tue Mar 03, 2026 1:50 pm So I guess #10 and #42 ?...if so, maybe it's not what we were hoping for but not bad either...we'd then then be drafting 1, 10, 33, and 42. We'd be getting FM, and then a stud at nearly any position we want and then 2 more picks in the top 41.
Not to be homerish, but that, coupled with some smart FA signings could really transform the Raiders in a hurry.
Getting tired of finishing 4th in the AFC West.
Yup, definite pass.DanKD wrote: Tue Mar 03, 2026 1:58 pm Id guess theyd offer #42 and next years first which id probably pass on
Ah my bad, I completely misread your post.DanKD wrote: Tue Mar 03, 2026 2:19 pm Possibly but a healthy Burrow will win them more games even if they dont do much in the playoffs. Personally Id want a 1st this year though no matter what.
He would get the current Crosby contract which is a reasonable deal. You guys need to remember, the CBA has a cap but also a floor and every team needs to spend the vast majority of their player money.Rabidraider wrote: Tue Mar 03, 2026 1:46 pm Their owner is a tight with money. That would be surprising.
With 3 picks (after Mendo) in the first 2 rounds we get at least 2 stud linemen (O and D) and a WR, Corner, or LB. Hello rebuild at warp speed.Rabidraider wrote: Tue Mar 03, 2026 2:55 pm Looking at what would be available around pick 10 and I start to drool. Top lineman, and other blue chippers.
you keep insisting that now is better than right at the draft. And yet, history says you are wrongeastcoast128 wrote: Tue Mar 03, 2026 4:17 pm The proposed Cincy deal would elevate Cincy fan concerns over losing their own stud DE.
Also, at pick 10, we’d have a shot at Miami’s Rueben Bane.
I’m of the belief, trading Maxx at the start of the league year makes sense. Everyone has cap space and it answers roster questions immediately. I think there would be more teams and options available March 11 as opposed to the evening of the draft
Well that's an interesting development if true. Obi has had some good inside tips in the past, though obviously a grain of salt needs to be takenLayneStaley wrote: Tue Mar 03, 2026 4:56 pm
I trust Obi but I guess JT is saying the exact opposite.
You're probably right, but it sure would be sweet.
