In that case he wouldn't really be a scape goat. He would just be bad at his job and fired for that reason

How can he be a scapegoat if you say they lost 3 games bc of him?

Because it was Carlson's inconsistencies that cost them those 3 games. Missed/blocked field goals, missed extra point which is inexcusable. I get the impression that Carroll was afraid to use Carlson when they were 4th and short at the Broncos 30 yard line.

McMahon has been here since 2020. He was here for a long time. It was time for a change. This is Carroll's first year.

Carroll's first year HERE and look what he's done. How its possible to make a bad team worse is beyond me but guess what, he did it.

We need a new field goal kicker. Carlson has had it. My plan for next year's draft is linebacker in the 1st and guard in the 2nd. We could draft a new kicker in the 6th round.

Come on guys! If it weren't for special teams miscues we could easily be 5-4. I agree we need some work in some areas. A change in the line coaches would be good. Both of them!!

Easily? Yea right. Not with the human garbage can at QB.

We're 8th in the league in sacks allowed. How can you expect a good QB to work under pressure like that. Also, I think the stat rating system is wrong. A ball that bounces off a receiver's hands and is intercepted should be counted as a fumble against the receiver.

Well, ball placement does play into it. The last Geno INT where the receiver got hands on the ball is on Geno. He put the ball into a situation where the receiver was vulnerable and that is on the passer, not the receiver.

But I get the idea, there are times when you have to say the receiver caused the INT but it is just not often enough to make that a fumble.

So Geno has 78 interceptions this year instead of 79? Dude's a trash bag qb
