It’s been like this pretty much the entire season. Maybe 6 good quarters overall, maybe. I don’t understand how Chip and BC don’t get together and solve this. If we are getting beat physically fine, but if we are also getting beat because we are too f[raiders_icon]cking stupid to understand how to block for the play or have poor technique that’s not acceptable.

Pete is going to stick it out with his hires. He's already fired the ST coach who wasn't "his guy".

Gonna turn it around is the mantra.

This is a good site for draft eval. I think this teams needs to go Oline Oline in the draft and sign a quality vet.

Well at the moment the raiders should be punting once they get the ball;

Lol to the people saying Pete needs to demote his son. What the actual f[raiders_icon]ck is that gonna do?! Pete needs to demote himself. Get it right.

I expected much better from a Pete Carroll led team but apparently the curse will not be lifted even for a SB/ College championship winning coach, lol. It feels like no matter what this team does it will always be a losing franchise, which cant be true can it. I understand the logic of bringing Carroll back for another year becuase I dont believe its good for the Raiders to hire/fire so many coaches in rapid succession. One things for sure, he needs to upgrade his staff big time including firing his son (if he cant, let the gm do it) which was a foolish hire in the first place. At least I can honestly say I'm no longer as affected by this teams continued losing, I'm pretty much indifferent.

I am asking this as a legitimate question not trying to debate your point, which could be valid.

If the Raiders could hire a young coach with potential (eg) a Ben Johnson, a change would be for the better, way better. And honestly there not many of them out there. They would have to take a flier.

But...It's very questionable if that could happen given present ownership and franchise reputation, which stinks. I am not sure what coach Pete's contract looks like and the status of the other fired head coaches that Mark is still paying.

Maybe Spytek and Brady could make this job attractive but given the current state of affairs the most plausible solution to this clusterfuck would be for Carroll to bring in Sarkisian or Kiffin as an assistant head coach with the intent of them being the succession plan once Pete calls it a career. The likelihood of that happening is very minute.

I am not sure taking a big risk on youth would be a mistake considering the current state of the Raiders. I am not sure it could get much worse. Unless:

Coach Prime show coming to Vegas live. What a shit show that would be.

Well, since that is not going to happen, and his son is his son, we are where we are at. It is not like the line can magically improve. To improve the line they need to replace a large number of the line.

We really do have to face the reality that going through coaches and GMs like we have has left the cupboard bare as f[raiders_icon]ck
