Well this season has sucked but it would be even worst if we get swept by the horsefacses.

My ex was a Broncos fan and we are still loosely connected as I am still connected with her immediate family. Call it bragging rights but more like a dagger in the back. And the guy I want us to draft in the first is not one that requires a top 3 pick.

Well, it is one of two guys, both who I think can be there at our pick even with one more win. I do think of the QBs who go in the first that Simpson is one of them. His upside does surpass the other two simply because his build and arm are advantages over Mendoza and Moore. But unlike some around here, I also think we can go another year before pulling the trigger in a much better projected QB class and Mauigoa would be simply too good a guy to pass up on and if the QB run happens at the top like I think it might, he could be there for us. Jordyn Tyson is going to be appealing to a team like the Titans who could trade with the Jets for the top pick. Getting help for Ward is certainly something they have to consider seriously. Reese and Bain are locks to go top 10 unless something crazy happens. So Mauigoa might just be there and he can play RT. Get more Oline help with the rest of the draft and shore up the defense with FA and some other picks and you have something for 2026 when you go to the deeper draft and get your guy.

And this from a guy who has wanted to get our guy since Herbert was a prospect.

The chargers game was perfect… Brock made plays and scored… Maxx and the defense made some plays… we somewhat competed but still lost… just hope they don’t play hard enough so Pete comes back next season

Garoppolo, Minshew, Smith. At least the Broncos learned their lesson. Raiders keep going back to the well.

I agree. Build the lines this year, and "maybe" get some extra picks. Not gonna be a playoff team next year. Two year rebuild from here.

It’s the minuscule difference in organizational philosophy. Smart choices, or stupid choices. We choose the latter, and we’re seriously committed.

Well, as of right now, this FA class has some great oline help, some will resign but we are going to have money so they might wait and hit a very good market. That could pave the way for a QB if they go that route. Same with some nice D guys.

Who knows what is going to happen, but it is not impossible to turn around a shit show in two seasons

Ty Simpson is too short. Dante Moore is 6'3 and Mendoza is 6'5.

I agree. Pete Carroll is most likely going to sit the rookie. So, draft a project like Tylen Green or Drew Allar in the mid rounds and take Jordyn Tyson with our first pick.

Simpson is 6’2”. Same height as a lot of successful QBs.Farve and Montana are 2 that come to mind.

Fair warning. You’re entering a conversation with a man who’s never met a fact he couldn’t ignore.

2/3rds of the questions were

“What do you think of Maxs play and leadership?”
“What do you think about Bowers?”

How redundant can our dumbass reporters be? We all know about Max and Brock. Why not ask why our Oline continues to shit the bed play after play after play?
“Hey coach, is it bad coaching or lack of talent?”

“Are you concerned that your first round pick is getting curbstomped the second he touches the ball in the backfield?”

Simpson is 6'2" which is absolutely fine. Allar is shit and Green is way too raw. Simpson needs grooming, but is not raw.

You are quibbling over 1 inch? Mendoza may be the best right now but his ceiling is way lower than Simpson. Those extra 4 inches mean exactly dick when you are talking ceiling

The GOAT is 6'4. The best Manning was 6'5. Dan Marino was 6'4. Troy Aikman was 6'4.

Farve was great but let's not pretend that he wasn't prone to making a lot of mistakes. I think he has the record for most career interceptions. Montana and Brees are outliers.

The Greatest QBs of all time minus a few outliers are all at least 6'3.

Just the Raider elite: Rich Gannon was 6'3. Jim Plunkett was 6'3. Kenny Stabler was 6'3. Daryle Lamonica was 6'3. Jay Schroeder was 6'4. Marc Wilson was 6'6.

All the greatest Raider QBs were 6'3+.

You have to see over the line to excel in this league. You know this, so stop pretending you don't. A 6'5 Mendoza who doesn't get the ball batted down as often and can actually scan the entire field with ease makes a world of difference in a game of inches.
