I would gladly take McDaniel as our OC. He has an innovative mind but he is not cut out as a HC (many top coordinators are not).

Browns fire head coach Kevin Stefanski after 6 seasons, keep GM Berry

After six seasons and two of the only three playoff appearances for this iteration of the franchise, the Cleveland Browns fired head coach Kevin Stefanski on Monday morning.

Stefanski, 43, is a two-time NFL Coach of the Year and signed an extension with the team in 2024. But since then the Browns have won just eight of a possible 34 games, and the offensive-minded head coach has given up play-calling duties to two different offensive coordinators in that time.

I know Stefanski is very respected, but personally I don't really get the hype about him.

Disappointing that Carroll is still The Raiders Head Coach. If he still is Wednesday mid-day then he's probably the 2026 Head Coach.

I wonder if Brady flew from Chicago to Las Vegas yesterday evening?

Rumor is we will hire Flores and get Daboll to be our OC.

Yea firing a guy early early on Monday does not give you an edge in the hiring process. What is going to happen will happen today at some point. Either he gets fired, moved to another area or retained. But I have little doubt we will find out about it at some point, either announcement or leak.

Has there been any chatter or articles that indicate The Raiders have interviewed anyone at this point? If The Raiders hire Flores is Daboll HIS choice for OC or is The Raiders front office making the decisions for OC and DC?

I'd like it to be a chain of command. GM hires the coach, the coach hires his staff.

no way they could have interviewed any coach still coaching, and as of yesterday that was the case for all active coaches. For us to interview a coach in the playoffs will require permission from their team
