Free agency opens March 11. CBS Sports has their top 50 ranking. No Raiders on the list. I am surprised at a couple rated high - Aaron Rodgers and Daniel Jones. Lots of wide receivers

Braden Smith is a bit older but still has juice.
Franklin Myers is another older guy but he had a good year this year
Cade Mays I would do if we miss out at the top guy at the position
I wish that you guys who know everything would inlcude position and current team when you mention these guys.

For those of us who don't know everything.

He was credited this year of being a great mentor to Dart.

Jameis Winston was an excellent mentor to rookie QB Jaxson Dart for the New York Giants this year, with Dart calling him a "blessing," a "coach on the field," and a vital source of guidance in film study and life beyond football, providing immense energy and positivity that significantly aided Dart's development.
Evidence of Good Mentorship:

Constant Guidance: Winston frequently quizzed Dart in the film room and on the field, teaching him from his own experiences.
Beyond Football: Their relationship extended past football, helping Dart with personal growth and handling life as a pro.
Positive Energy: Winston brought daily energy, optimism, and unwavering positivity to the QB room, even when things were tough.
Veteran Support: Both Winston and Russell Wilson provided crucial wisdom and leadership as Dart transitioned into the starting role.
Public Praise: Dart consistently praised Winston's impact, calling it a "blessing" to have him in his corner.

Winston's Role:

Winston embraced his role as a veteran backup and mentor, understanding his value was in helping the young QB succeed, not just playing.
He expressed a desire to help Dart become a superstar and remain with the Giants, viewing himself as a "solution-oriented guy".

In essence, Winston played a significant, positive, and widely recognized role in Jaxson Dart's successful rookie season with the Giants.

I know everything, about nothing, but a few things.

By all accounts, he’s a great locker room guy and really helped dart out a lot

To me, Linderbaum is a must sign if he (foolishly) makes it to FA.

If Linderbaum is available, he must be signed. If we can pay multiple coaches that are no longer here, surely we can afford a superior O line player.

It still bothers me when the coach on the Saints wanted him to take a knee and not score to run it up and basically say FU to the coach and scored anyway. I know it was for a team mates record of some sort. But you have to follow what the coach says.

Improve the OL, all other considerations should be subordinate to that effort.

2016-18 We were able to turn the O line around pretty quickly through free agency with Osemele, Penn and Hudson, we threw a lot of money at it but we arguably had one of if not the best O line in the NFL.

We spent a ton of money propping up Carr to look mediocre
