You do know the difference between a media piece and a fan piece, right? This was totally a fan piecemstrbass2000 wrote: Sun May 10, 2026 7:25 am AGREE 100 PCT teh media hates the raiders and will go out of their way to make us look bad or stir up controversy
I tried telling him. But he wasn't the only one that brought up the media. Idk, weird assumptions by some.Attyla wrote: Sun May 10, 2026 10:14 am You do know the difference between a media piece and a fan piece, right? This was totally a fan piece
....to be fair, during the off season, those in 'the media' still have a job to do, and that is to attract an audience, and it can only can go anywhere if others give it legs and here we are....Rabidraider wrote: Sun May 10, 2026 5:29 am Its just the media looking to find news even when there is none.
Just Blog Baby for Fansided? And we contrast that with things like ESPN or NFL.com or even The Post's sports section and you could make a case that a blog vs an article is pretty easy to distinguish between. But for shits and giggles, I went to the "author's" bio and well gosh darn it he has been blogging for over a year. He is even called, and I wish I were making this up, a "site expert" and at one point in the bio we are told he is recurring guest on the Jim Davis Show. And because we all know what the Jim Davis Show is, the bio clarifies that it is a radio show. So I went and found out that the Jim Davis show is on AM radio. Hell, I did not even know AM radio existed anymore. His bio continues on to answer the hard hitting question, how did Levi get his lofty position? Yep ol' Levi played college basketball and was in the pros. That got me asking, well gee, where did he play. I admit I am a little rusty with the pro game these days but maybe he was a role player for the Celts or whatnot. Turns out Levi played for powerhouse BB at Colorado Mesa University. So I went to the notable alum list. Poor Levi did not make the list. We gee wilikers how is that possible with a pro basketball player. So, I tried pulling up his stats from the pros but came up empty. Turns out the hard hitting journalist played one season for Pula, Croatia.raidersince63 wrote: Sun May 10, 2026 11:56 am ...both social media and mainstream media are hardly distinguishable nowadays..."nothing is really anymore".

Bingo !.Rabidraider wrote: Sun May 10, 2026 12:56 pm But it does not change the fact that the media (real or fan based) needs to make content, even if there is no substance to the article.
Johnson is considered a great pickup. Buffalo hated losing him, but the cap forced their hand.
I'll bet 10k Silver dollars Johnson makes the team.
