For those who aren’t interested, feel free to skip this thread, ,this one isn't for you. But for those looking for a way to spend your Silver Dollars, we’ve got something coming very soon.

You’ll soon be able to use your RaiderStation money to buy badges that display right under your username. To keep things clean, we’ll set a limit on how many show at once, but you’ll be able to pick your favorites (and maybe we'll include a 'see all' pop-up for the collectors).

We’re starting with Legacy Badges to honor Raider legends, like a flame for Al Davis or a snake for Ken Stabler. These will be rarer and cost more points. For the current roster, badges will be much more affordable so everyone can rep a Bowers or Mendoza badge without breaking the bank.

Thanks to your donations, I’ve been able to hire a developer to build this out. It’s a lot of work, but it’s coming together great and we’re in the final tweaking stage.

If you have ideas for badge designs or how they should display, post them here. Otherwise, keep an eye out, the shop will be open for business soon.

I’m thinking a badge with a dead gopher on it. I’d be happy to lay my hard-earned silver coin on that one.

Maybe a badge with a fake hooker holding a mirror with a couple of fake lines.

Mt Rushmore of Raiders. Literally 4 heads on the mountain.

Otto, Stabler, Long and Woodson, if you make it 5 heads add in Allen or Upshaw

Or the bust Rushmore
Russell, Marinovich, Wilson (Tyree) and Ferrell. The only one you could question is Marinovich and then you would add in Darrell Russell

some very cool ideas, but lets take it a step further. For current players, it'll be very simple, a badge with a jersey numberr inside, guys like Mendoza, Bowers, Jeanty, Maxx etc. . . they've gotta earn their legacy nicknames.

In order to create a badge, I need a nickname or something iconic to represent the player. Attyla just mentioned Woodson, he makes whiskey now, so maybe a botle of whiskey inside a badge. I just made one for Seabass, should be pretty easy to figure out what that's going to be. It doesn't have to be a nickname, for Al, I'm doing the eternal flame, for Madden, maybe a Turducken, or video game controller? Just something that lets Raiders fans know what these things represent.

We can't have boring badges, so if something cool crosses your mind, post it!
