It’s that time of year for us to dog fight about who’s college team is better.

Best way to start it out IMO is with the preseason coaches poll that just dropped:

Preseason Coaches Poll
1.Ohio State
2.Oregon
3.Georgia
4.Texas
5.Notre Dame
6.Indiana
7.Miami
8.Texas A&M
9.Oklahoma
10.Ole Miss
11.Alabama
12.Texas Tech
13.LSU
14.USC
15.BYU
16.Michigan
17.Penn State
18.Tennessee
19.Washington
20.SMU
21.Utah
22.Iowa
23.Clemson
24.Houston
25.Missouri

We all know who are backing after that last few years but the 2026 season is almost upon us.

For my own part, this year is special I’m attending my first home game ever at ND on 9/12.

Shocking.

ESPN over-inflates the SEC in preseason rankings thereby "hurr durr look at how tough our SEC schedule is." Its called self fulfilling.

We'll see come January if the last three years holds true: SEC getting boat raced in the playoffs.

Well not everyone can have a pussified schedule like ND, and be guaranteed a spot lol

There is no point...ND has cherry picked there pussy schedule since they have been in existence, and still can't dominate like say a Alabama team did, and when they get left out of the playoffs like last year they pout & cry and refuse to go to a bowl game, f[raiders_icon]cking the players who deserved to play in a bowl game...come on Willmark it's pathetic!!!! They literally have ONE game on their schedule that they might lose...Miami who else in college FB can say that lol...I'm surprised there isn't a f[raiders_icon]cking uproar about it from other teams to be honest!!!!

Not as bad as over Alabama undeservedly getting picked over Florida State a few years ago when it was a four team playoff. Can't have those media darlings sitting at home.

SEC homers and Alabama homers? Sheer refusal to admit that they are no longer what they once were and highly suspect that once everyone else started paying players the playing field leveled? Funny how everyone "caught up" to Alabama.

Oh and lose a "conference championship" game, but do not suffer for it in the rankings. Fact: if you can't be penalized for losing a "championship" game then you shouldn't benefit from it either.

Its as much as a joke as the "vaunted" SEC "gauntlet" of teams. Basically top heavy with Alabama and Georgia and a number of teams that get over ranked every year.

Now queue belly aching of "man up and join a conference" which is amusing as I've yet to see one reason ND should other than the whining and crying of fans of other teams. Usually SEC ones.

EDIT: And last year about the bowl game? ND made a choice to protest the ridiculous ability of ESPN and the SEC (the same entity really) to manipulate an undeserving team (Alabama) to get into the playoffs. Miami deserved to be in, Alabama as shown by getting blown out did not.

I wish the Domers had the balls to join the SEC LMAO...you would never have more than 8 wins, and that would be a great year lol Your teams schedule says it all, absolutely Pathetic...you seem to think that the SEC is done...I can assure they are not;)

As to the bolded? Must be all those "hypothetical wins" I hear SEC fans talk about.

Otherwise:
Did Not Belong....

LMAO:
Indiana 38 Alabama 3
https://www.espn.com/college-football/g ... ma-indiana

Could have been 50 if Indiana wanted to.

You seem to always forget about Alabama's 50 to 60 years of elite, championship-level football...do you really think Indiana or ND can ever come close to Bama excellence...not a chance!! Show a little respect for the most Dominate college team to ever play the game!! I know one thing for sure you can never say your son went to a college that won 3 National Championships in the 4 years he went to college lmao

From 1993 to 1997 Nebraska went 60-3 with three Natty's. Bama's 60-6 run from 2011-2015 is considered by some as the most dominant five years stretch in NCAA history.

In my opinion Nebraska was as good during their quasi dynasty.

The Bama faithful tends to get punch drunk when their buck is up. No pun intended but the tide is turning.
