Loved Bob Chandler. So underrated in his career. One of the best high school athletes in Cal high school history. I thought he was dead after that hit he took against Denver and his career was basically over after that. A few weeks later he was back out there holding kicks again.

Been thinking some on that insane 2pt conversion try by the cowboys when all they needed and should have done was kick the extra point and be down by 7.

There was no logical reason for going for 2pts, nothing.

The only thing that makes any sense to me especially these days is betting. There is no other logical explanation for doing that, obsoletely no reason to go for 2 there in any previous history of the NFL. The major change to the NFL and sports these days is fully sanctioned wagering.

Any other LOGICAL explanations I'd like to hear them. But to me there aren't any others

Cowboys were 10 point favorites and the game was already over. on the over /under they were still 9.5 points short. It didn't affect the betting lines at all.
That said it was a stupid decision. They claimed they were going to go for 2 if they scored twice to win but it makes no sense to go on the first TD. They said if they missed the could still tie with a 2 if they scored again. Seems stupid to me

Or just have a new weekly "other games" thread that covers Thursday, Sunday, Monday? This season there haven't been any "other games" threads for Sunday games and it's all in the Around the NFL thread which seems more appropriate as an NFL news compilation than game discussion. To me, a compilation of discussion of Thursday games doesn't have the same connection between the games as a weekly thread for all games.

I don't really care that much and won't worry about it either way...... JMO.

Tonight the defending Super bowl champs visit the Broncos in a very old fashion AFC west showdown.

I’ve said once I’ll say it again
Thursday night football is terrible
Too quick of a turnaround but I guess money is more important than player health and safety

You would think Teams coming off a bye would start the new week on Thursday at least there is rest for a better game…

Tonight’s game was hard to watch

Thursday and International are both garbage and would be better done away with.

Host games in US states with no teams if you have to...

That would help, but there are no byes before the 4th week or after the 12th week.

The seahawks did not lose that game tonight Sam Darnold lost that game. 3 bad picks, 1 in OT. And all of them it looked like he didn't see any defensive players near the receivers. Terrible passes.

Greed.

It's the driving force of the NFL plain and simple. Talk is cheap, watch their actions. The fact we didn't have to endure any of this garbage and just play Sunday to Sunday all season long with this year's schedule was such a major bonus...

Both QBs were cheeks tonight

And when you put two cheeks together, you get a complete ass.
