It's hard to complain about taking Bech in the 2nd. The guy's a monster and sure Pro Bowler. He already has two catches for 33 yards through four games this year! And look at his college resume'. He had a season where he had over 1,000 yards. Sure, it was the only productive season he had, but it was a helluva thousand yards.

Then he held out for more money!

Bech is an example of quality drafting that one can only describe as pure genius.

Carr hit the deep bombs with Ruggs.

That being said, Tucker has flashed. Encouraging sign for the next QB.

We gave up a third and a fifth and spent more money for worse QB play.

The third for Smith, Spytek was able to trade around and picked up two thirds to take two OL who’ve yet to play a snap in 2025. I don’t have a problem with the third, the contract is the albatross in the room.

Spytek definitely waking up early to re-read the fine print of this deal. Looks like we are stuck with him through next season, unless they want to eat another dead money deal.

You've got it right. Per Spotrac: 2026 dead cap would be 18.5, zero in 2027.

You didn't have that attitude when The Turd threw 3 against the Chargers in 2022... :clown:

Anyway so glad we gave Geno a big raise/extension instead of forcing him to play out the final year of his current contract on a prove it deal. :paperbag:

He’s essentially Okie on the old site pounding the table for Russell after we moved on.

Odd how history repeats itself.

Carrbage threw punts in the air and receivers routinely had to come back to get them.

It's looking like a 4-5 win season so Spytec/Brady will get a chance to draft a QB. As hard as it is to watch him continually turn the ball over, it's probably best to let Gino ride out the season as tank commander. We don't want a QB coming and getting on a little roll where they win a couple of meaningless games like the last few seasons. This team needs to complete the tank.

Should we have signed Sam Darnold?
