We can't let Kershaw retire without showing Stafford sharing the moment with him.

Legend
Legends don't have an era of 4.49 in the postseason.
Kerchoke is not a legend.

Epic collapse by Detroit. Losers of 10 out of 11 while the Indians have won 12 out of 13.

I was there at T-Mobile, and it was riveting stuff. Last time Mariners won the AL West was 2001. Like the Raiders, a loyal fan base stuck with them through thick and thin. Lots of close calls but they just couldn't make it to the top of the AL West until last night. I can't even begin to explain the joy the entire crowd felt after the last out was called. Grown men with tears in their eyes, soaking it all in. That's what it's like after a long drought. That's what I hope the Raiders will feel once this team gels. It probably isn't this year, but stranger things have happened. Somehow you just have to go along for the ride and keep hoping for the best.

All of those tears to choke in the playoffs.

Yanks tied for 1st, but Toronto has the tiebreaker. But Yanks finish with the O's while BJ's finish with Detroit, who finally got off the mat yesterday.

I think the Mariners are peaking at just the right time. I see them making a serious run for the series.

I'm a Dodger fan since 1966, and I always hated that about Kershaw, absolutely GARBAGE in the post season.

So a team wins 90 plus games in the regular season and all they get from that is a best of three?
Baseball is broken.
Vin must be rolling over in his grave, God rest his blessed soul.
Edit PS: I ran into Vin in Westlake Village about 20 years ago and I was so surprised and dumbfounded all I could think of to say was "God bless you Vin." (something I had never said to anyone before or since, no idea where it came from). No s**t he turned and looked over his shoulder and said "God bless you."

Yankees peaking too. 9 out of last 10. Took 5 out of 6 this season from Seattle.
