In the vein of what's cooking with Scotman and Attyla.
As in years past, the 2025 What’s Cookin for Gameday thread. Post each week what you’re having on Gameday, drinks, appetizers etc,
Last year’s turned up some good stuff, so keep these in mind:
* Each week post what you are having for food, aka main dish.
* Appetizers?
* Desert?
* Each week what are you drinking?
* Include what you're having if you're tailgating.
* If you are ordering, what are you ordering?
* Brunch, you name it.

Trying something new tonight. A crockpot italian sausage and potato casserole. has crumbled italian sausage, diced onions, sliced red potatoes and green beans topped with parmesan cheese swimming in an italian cream sauce. don't know how it will go but the house smells wonderful.
Let us know how it turned out. Sounds interesting

That sounds very Interesting...I find myself using different sausages to enhance some sort of veg these days since meat is outrageous...I have found that at my neighborhood store when to go in & get filet mignon that is marked down half price because they can't sell it at 23$ a pound;)

Where I live in So Cal there is a store called Valley Marketplace, they routinely put great steaks on sale for 5-6 bucks a pound, even filet.
Porterhouse this week for 5.99/LB. Get me some!!

It was a bit strong for the sauce. I think I need to cut it a bit so next time I will add some chicken broth. Experiment has potential though.

My grocery bill is up about 20% these days. I have found that shopping using digital coupons is having less impact than it use to have. Frustrating because I plan my weekly menu around deals I find on line, but the deals seem to be moving toward more non food items or stuff like soda and cereals, neither that we eat.

I too keep on top of that stuff; all the markets put out flyers in the mail. Keep an eye out for those too.

“I never liked coffee” should never be considered grammatically correct in any sentence. Automatic failure if I was your English teacher.
