...I just looked more closely at the ravens d line, after I had started to type that 'i would have no doubt that in that situation, he will produce'......and was shocked, more or less, to see that despite the 2 tackles having been rated so highly, that overall, that d line unit was rated 31st last year. ....while they attributed the crappy rating in large part to the lack of pass rush from the ends, it m,makes me wonder just how more effective he will make that unit....from 31st, that's a long way to go......chucker wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 10:29 am There is absolutely nothing wrong with bumping this thread to talk about Maxx all you, or anyone else, wants. Personally I'm going to be watching Crosby's performance and the Ravens performance and comparing it to what we did with the resources from trading him.
Hopefully it gets discussed more in this thread and doesn't dominate every other thread. The way we've had to manage the Carr discussion to keep it from being an all-Carr forum really sucks. Unfortunately one Carr post in an unrelated thread consistently turns into multiple pages about nothing but Carr.
By the way, anyone who uses this post as an invitation to talk about Carr is getting a timeout.![]()

Agreed. He has always caused drama even back with the Patriots. He may very well provide value and a good service, but it can't be denied that drama and dislike also follows him around.LayneStaley wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 9:57 am
This shit circulating about Alex Guerrero pisses me off. He needs to stay in his lane, keep him away from the team.

Yes i hope so. I think the ship was too loose under Carroll. Spytek appears much more assertive so far this offseason and Kubiak seems much more no nonsense.WNYRAIDER wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 11:04 am yeah, I have to assume, and hope, that the new HC has the authority to square that away, regardless of Brady's influence.
IMO Crosby will have a massive impact if he's healthy. He'll also very likely have significantly better sack production with better DTs and if Lamar Jackson is healthy enough that they aren't playing from behind all the time like the Raiders were.WNYRAIDER wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 11:02 am ...I just looked more closely at the ravens d line, after I had started to type that 'i would have no doubt that in that situation, he will produce'......and was shocked, more or less, to see that despite the 2 tackles having been rated so highly, that overall, that d line unit was rated 31st last year. ....while they attributed the crappy rating in large part to the lack of pass rush from the ends, it m,makes me wonder just how more effective he will make that unit....from 31st, that's a long way to go......
Exactly. Even with that bargain contract, those assholes are so cap strapped before cap gymnastics they're hoping the Raiders eat some of it. Mouth breatherschucker wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 10:46 am Crosby's current contract is a bargain - signing him to that extension last year is a big part of the reason we got this kind of value IMO.
How dare he interfere with what has been the culture and has worked so well the last two decades. Who cares that G and Brady have had massive success everywhere they have been. We want none of that here mister....LayneStaley wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 9:57 am

2021-2023 Maxx was elite. The last two seasons he has only been very very good. I actually think this is primarily due to health. He has been playing hurt each of the last two years. His every play every game mentality is admirable but it also makes it difficult to heal up in season.chucker wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 11:09 am IMO Crosby will have a massive impact if he's healthy. Because one player on the team who was already checked out, had a problem with him?LayneStaley wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 9:57 am

He has a history from his Pats days of clashing with players/coaches. An article a couple weeks ago said it was multiple players and coaches for Raiders too. I only care because it seems like its always something.Hellbound wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 1:26 pm Because one player on the team who was already checked out, had a problem with him?
