Figured we can talk about the scheme that is wasting Jeanty, regressing Smith and frustrating the hell out of the fanbase. Not to mention Bech being wasted and a load of other issues.

I’m not a huge fan of Renz, but he said something today I actually agree with. If Mark Davis fires Pete Carroll (and by default lets go of Chip Kelly), which is looking more realistic by the day, he’ll be paying nearly $50 million to coaches, GMs and coordinators.

That’s exactly what Renz thinks is a good thing—because Mark needs to feel the pinch of his ineptitude until he produces a winner on the field.

Of course, because the Las Vegas Raiders are getting massive returns for him, $50 million won’t send him to the poorhouse—but if you’re the one footing that bill because you’re running the show and expect results, you can’t justify producing a piss-poor product.

My money is on Greg Olson taking Kelly's place for the rest of the season.
