If you look at old video of pre 70s most were lean. Processed food and too much screen time.
I bike in the nice weather and barely see kids anymore.
Yeah, and to piggy back on that, I remember the girls back in the 70's were also in much better shape back then. Nowadays, there are girls who may have a nice silhouette, but for the most part, they are not nearly as "toned" as they used to be.
Like you alluded to, put down your damn phone, and get outside for a change.

Yeah, I'm sure that Kirk's arm is not as strong as it once was. But I seem to remember him airing out quite a few long passes in camp but none in the Miami game. And we have no way of knowing if Kubiak even called any plays that called for Cousins to throw the ball 40-50 or more yards.
In the Miami game, the running game was doing it's job and with the exception of the INTs, Cousins seemed to simply take what Miami's defense gave him, so it didn't really require long passes. Running the ball and short underneath passes are a well known page out of Kubiak's playbook.
Once we can run two TE sets I except his arm strength won’t be an issue.

7.6 yards per attempt.....not a burn burner

Same here...I had 2 different cancer episodes within a year and a half and when you hear the "C" word it can obviously scare the hell out of you. I'm not quite as tall as you but I had grown a bit fluffy and stepped on the scales one morning and it said "222" so I decided to do something about it. My goal was 190 and through diet changes, exercise, and most importantly, I quit all alcohol which was a big factor in my weight loss...and I've stayed at 190 for nearly 3 years now.
But as a bonus, as I gradually lost weight, in addition to my mind becoming sharper, I was also amazed that backaches came less often, my hips and feet stopped hurting and my steps became noticeably much lighter.
One of the better decisions I've ever made.
A person would think quitting alcohol would make the mind sharper but, after almost 27 years quit I’m still waiting.

More real food, less face stuffing constantly. All of your points. People had gardens and they cooked

You bastards got the golden age of America! I see the images of women in the 60's and my mouth waters. I was born in 92' & I find myself listening to 50's 60's oldies, 70's and 80's. Man, to feel for a time and place you never lived is wild

There’s little work ethic like the old days. What gets me is we old timers used to be afraid of adults and would never consider talking back and always addressed them as Mr and Mrs Smith.
My bad, way off topic

I survived the 60's, and somehow made it out alive and lived to tell about it..

As much as I hate to admit it, that's how it was.The 60's were a scary time to grow up.
...old saying, "If someone tells you that they remember the 60's, they were probably never there."

Kids actually played outside and interacted with other kids, I remember doing chores helping my grandma with gardening, running to the store down the street to buy stuff and knowing the general store owner, the butcher
