How ‘bout that Soul? No chance Brady hates Brady as much as you, but it might be a contest who hates the Pats most.Sold My Soul wrote: Sun Mar 08, 2026 7:22 pm One person involved in the trade made an interesting point about the Patriots' chances at Crosby: 'No way Tom [Brady] was sending Maxx to [Mike] Vrabel."
I was thinking the same but his game clearly regressed last season. His confidence looked shot in the post season. Maybe Houston can hire a QB coach to get him back on track.Dr Death wrote: Sun Mar 08, 2026 5:20 pm Yep. That's why I always say that Buckeye QB's will rarely make it in the NFL. Most are just RB's that play the QB position. Stroud may be the exception.
I think it's pretty much BS. I suspect that if the Pats actually made a better offer we would have taken it.raidersince63 wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 6:31 am I found nothing anywhere saying that Brady actually "blocked" a Pat's offer, or if an offer was actually made.
Exactly, and the "BS" you referenced is not gonna stop til the season starts...actually, not even then.chucker wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 6:43 am I think it's pretty much BS. I suspect that if the Pats actually made a better offer we would have taken it.
I would like to thank all the teams for their interest - it seems like the Cowboys staying in the mix until the end helped Spytek hold firm and end up with such a good return.
We know he was not. Players even confirmed that. As for his role? He was given authority to do what he is doing by Davis. He was a big reason we got Kubiak. And I call bullshit on his being involved in the trade in pretty much any way. That is just clickbait bullshitraidersince63 wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 7:43 am Exactly, and the "BS" you referenced is not gonna stop til the season starts...actually, not even then.
Besides, what good does it do to have Spytek if Brady is gonna stick his nose into everything? And if that happens, why have a "GM"...as far as Brady, someone needs to remind him that he's simply a MINORITY owner. And I'm still not convince that he was not a large part of how things went down last year.
Kinda like the guy that plays for the bills but somehow gets a pass.tatalalicious wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 6:08 pm Lamar has performed pretty poorly in the playoffs when its time to be at your best.
I can take pictures of a few homes in Oakland and convince someone that it is Beverly Hills. However the majority of Oakland is a cesspool and it has rightfully earned that reputation.NoClapsPlease wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 8:34 am Baltimore is a great city. Very nice affluent areas in Baltimore county
Guys see a couple abandoned homes and are ready to write off an entire city. Ridiculous.
Big crime city. Violent crime ranks 4th in the nation. Outside the Inner Harbor area, the place is garbage and dangerous.Xramfan wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 8:46 am I can take pictures of a few homes in Oakland and convince someone that it is Beverly Hills. I’m not disagreeing with your Baltimore take as I have never been there.
I grew up in Baltimore. It’s not called bloodymore murderland by locals for no reason. Also years ago, they did a promotion with School benches that said the city that reads. Which, of course turned into the city that bleeds. Inner harbor area was decent. Rumor has it from peeps still there that’s going downhillXramfan wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 8:46 am I can take pictures of a few homes in Oakland and convince someone that it is Beverly Hills. No, we do't know that, not for a fact...we might think we know it from the BS we are spoon fed every day. And sorry, but "players" don't know everything about every move we made last year or what went on behind the scenes. Maybe you're convinced, but I'm not...so we can leaves it at that.Attyla wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 7:52 am We know he was not. Players even confirmed that. As for his role?
