Oh for God's sake, there is not way I want that toxic f[raiders_icon]ck near my team.
Please everyone read this one more time. The Saints own his rights. He can talk about the Raiders all he wants, he cannot return to the team because the f[raiders_icon]cking Saints own his ass. Period. Let it go. He is done. I want nothing to do with that pansy ass f[raiders_icon]ck.

Keep this soft whiny ass baby ass bitch away from this team.
What is mentoring? Throw the ball away on 4th down? Fumbling through the back of the endzone? Going full fetal if you don’t 6 cu ft of space around you?

And if you get a boo boo, cry for the cameras.

The year is 2044 and Mendoza announces his retirement after leading the Raiders to multiple super bowl victories.
Some internet wannabee troll then proposes Raiders bring 54 year old Derek Carr out of retirement to once again play quarterback for the Raiders. Some users here shit their depends and squish around in it with excitement.

This thread belongs in the “Emo Andy Dalton” thread. Wondering if that can be made automatic whenever she’s brought up.

Let’s recap.
1. Derek is Derek from the last game of 2018 till getting benched in 2022.
2. Derek looks out for Derek by exercising his no trade clause the Raiders were dumb enough to give him. And I might add his most adherent defenders here and elsewhere applauded him for.
3. The Saints rejoice at getting a “franchise” QB without giving up draft picks. You’d think would have been a big enough red flag. “Franchise QBs never hit the open market!!!!”
Me: you’re right…they don’t.
4. Carr proceeds to get Dennis Allen fired. Again.
5. Develops a “shoulder injury” ending his “career” once it becomes clear he’s going to face competition for the starting job.
Now it’s fine? I thought he opted to not have surgery?
6. Saints fans and Carr fans (for different reasons) dream up a scenario where we give up draft picks to take him back and “mentor” Mendoza? Never mind the fact I suspect it would be Mendoza who would be the one to teach Carr how to be a QB.
At the time the Carr nut huggers and some on this site repeated loudly (paraphrasing) “Carr owes them nothing after the way the Raiders treated him!!!” Now it’s different?
Yes, I agree Carr owed the Raiders nothing, for once you were correct. But guess what? The Raiders likewise owe Carr nothing.
And to sum up? That’s been my biggest issue with his legion of fans, well aside from the fact that nothing was ever his fault. The fact that the Carr fanatics operated under “heads I win, tails you lose” with any issue surrounding him.
The sole exception of this I can think of is RaiderandBulldog. While candid in his backing of Carr has never been unreasonable about it.

It will be merged in there soon. I thought I'd let the weirdos on both sides have their fun for a couple hours first. News is slow until after the SB when Kubiak can be officially hired and the assistant hiring begins.

Question - what would be worse than hiring Gruden again?
Answer - bringing DC back

well, gross first off. Second, I think back to what made Carr great in 2016 and then what made him shit every other year and I have to say it amazes me I survived as a fan. There were several times when I asked myself why I was watching this shit QB and I simply had no answer.
Keep that motherf[raiders_icon]cker away from my QB

By the way, while the story is moronic, at least the misguided original poster posted it as a separate thread so that it didn't ruin some coherent discussion in another thread. It's way easier to deal with as a mod than when people start turning an existing thread into a Carr rant, one way or another. Thank you for creating this terrible thread.
