Almost 2 months LOLAttyla wrote: Tue Feb 17, 2026 8:19 am So I was waiting for a software update to complete and asked myself, after Carr shit the bed in his one and only playoff game, how long did it take a certain poster to get over his utter depression? And the answer? Almost two months....holy shit

This must be a joke. Can you imagine the meltdown around here.

This site would go offline but no way is that happening.LayneStaley wrote: Fri Feb 27, 2026 9:38 pm

Labral tears can heal on their own, rotator cuff injuries, that is a bit more tricky. His was reported as degenerative in nature. While rest and rehab can heal it up, the chance of the injury returning is a bit higher. If he is attempting a comeback, he is going to have to carefully warm up that arm over a few months to make it happen.Hellbound wrote: Sat Feb 28, 2026 5:36 am What happened to him needing shoulder surgery and not getting it? Shit just doesn't heal back to normal
Well he worked with Kliff in NO, they prefer a to not throw a rookie in day 1, and Carr saved the Saints a bunch of cap space by retiring so they probably would just release him.Attyla wrote: Sat Feb 28, 2026 6:14 am Labral tears can heal on their own, rotator cuff injuries, that is a bit more tricky. And for the record, dude is a Saint until they release him or trade him. I doubt we are taking on his contract.
1. It's Klint, not Kliff.STHfrontrow wrote: Sat Feb 28, 2026 7:00 am Well he worked with Kliff in NO, they prefer a to not throw a rookie in day 1, and Carr saved the Saints a bunch of cap space by retiring so they probably would just release him.
It really isn't a far stretch to see Carr back in a Raiders uniform for a season or two.
Guess I got to get used to that new coach name.chucker wrote: Sat Feb 28, 2026 7:05 am 1. It's Klint, not Kliff.
2. I don't think Carr would have any interest in actually competing for a starting job, and so going to a team with the #1 overall pick of a QB is the opposite of what he'd be willing to take on.
3. No.
4. It's a really far stretch.
5. Let it go. He's gone.
Carr would want to go to a team where he is the undisputed king of the castle. And the Saints are probably not going to "just release him" since there is a major lack of "starting" QBs right now with Murray and Tua all but certainly not returning to their teams. That means, off the top of my head, AZ, MIA, NYJ, ATL CLE, MN, Pitt (possibly) all in the mix for a QB. And the market is shady at best. Right now, if Rodgers retires as I expect he will, the best QBs out there are Willis, Flacco, Geno and a few more. It is not a good market with 6-7 teams in need. Saints will want a pick or two for him.chucker wrote: Sat Feb 28, 2026 7:05 am 1. It's Klint, not Kliff.

I can't think of a worse mentorSTHfrontrow wrote: Sat Feb 28, 2026 7:14 am Guess I got to get used to that new coach name.
I'm just saying it would be relativity easy if Klint and co wanted Carr here. Carr as a backup is not so bad and he could mentor Mendoza. I'm not a gunning for Carr I'm just simply stating that it is a real possibility.
I'd prefer they just role with AOC as the backup. We shall see.
