Brought about by someone claiming the former Saint was interested in a NFL comeback and of course that brings us into the conversation. Problem is, anyone other than the Saints who are interested will have to go through the Saints. They cannot even have a conversation with the former Saint without permission from the Saints. And thus far, the rumors seem to be very much just a myth. Translation, the Former Saint to the Raiders is utter and complete bullshit, but it is the offseason.
I get it, if I were the former Saint I would want to get back into the game, prove I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time kind of thing. But, he chose the Saints, and wrecked the team in doing so. At some point, coaches see how much of a coach killer he is, and teams see how overpaid he is for his actual production. They see his lack of ball security. And nobody, and I mean nobody, buys his bullshit story that his "cry face" is actually the face he makes when he is working out. You have to have a lot of heart to play that position. You have to have a killer instinct. He just does not and that is OK.
