Agree but just don't know what's going on in his head.Opoponax50 wrote: Sun Jan 04, 2026 1:04 pm No top QB prospect is going to an already good team. NIL money is good money, but it's not #1 NFL draft pick guaranteed money. If he stays and gets injured or has a bad season, his fall could be hard. At least that's what I'd tell him and his family if I was his agent.
Yeah, financially he’s way better off declaring.Opoponax50 wrote: Sun Jan 04, 2026 1:04 pm No top QB prospect is going to an already good team. Indiana’s not waiting for Mendoza to officially declare, they can already read the writing on the wall—They are actively recruiting his replacement..
His agent should call the Raiders & say he’s staying in school if you hire Flores.
What? Don’t we avoid alternating first and second picks every other round with a loss to KC?Attyla wrote: Sun Jan 04, 2026 1:19 pm No doubt in my mind that Mendoza enters the draft. No doubt in my mind we select him.
Now everyone settle down and don't get banned over petty shit and you do you whether you want us to win or lose
we do, but my level of caring while there is not as big, we get our guy and the other rounds decrease in mattering as we move through the draftRaider_Len wrote: Sun Jan 04, 2026 1:22 pm What? Don’t we avoid alternating first and second picks every other round with a loss to KC?
Yeah it would be nice to beat KC to a degree anyway. I keep reading and remembering though, how valuable a first pick in the second round can be, trade down-wise. At least I can watch this one stress free. That’s a treat in this household.Attyla wrote: Sun Jan 04, 2026 1:24 pm we do, but my level of caring while there is not as big, we get our guy and the other rounds decrease in mattering as we move through the draft

No its worse than that. Next 1st pick wont be until 5th round. Our 2nd round pick will be #4.Raider_Len wrote: Sun Jan 04, 2026 1:22 pm What? Don’t we avoid alternating first and second picks every other round with a loss to KC?
Why would that be, aren't there only two other teams with 3 wins?Cruisin with Tooz wrote: Sun Jan 04, 2026 3:19 pm No its worse than that. Next 1st pick wont be until 5th round. Our 2nd round pick will be #4.
Jets and Titans will end with 3 and the Cardinals may too.Arsenal Raider wrote: Sun Jan 04, 2026 3:26 pm Why would that be, aren't there only two other teams with 3 wins?
I would expect we'd have no worse than the 3rd pick in any given round
There would be 4 3-14 teams if we win.Arsenal Raider wrote: Sun Jan 04, 2026 3:26 pm Why would that be, aren't there only two other teams with 3 wins?
