Training wheels come off, it is time to make this a reality.

Welcome to the NFL Mendoza, and welcome to being the leader of the Raiders Klint Kubiak. Let's get this thing going. And yea, as always, I sipped the Koolaid.

Defense looked bad but I am not that alarmed or surprised. Several young kids out there and this is their first NFL live game so they will get burned. The keepers are the ones who learn and get better from here on out. And if not rookies, some of these guys are only in year 2 or 3 but learning a new system with a new HC and new culture. Not going to blink on this one.

Loved Mendoza. His second series was noticeably different than his first series which tells me he is mature between the ears and will get better and better. His PA fooled me more than once.....I am not worried about his capabilities under center. Nobody is surprised about the running game and the TEs.

Vios con dios T Joe

I think how they look next game, especially the defense is a bit more important. Today was "welcome to school" day. Next game I expect improvement.

Great to be watching football again. Mendoza looks good in the silver and black.

Oh my God,

We couldn't stop there run or pass all game long.

AOC was terrible.

The "toe" has got to go.

Very disappointing.

We were alot worse than I thought we would be, our defense flat out sucked. I think they will make some personnel changes though before next game and address some of these problems.

I’ll give him a chance to get the players he wants for his system. I accept the defense will more than likely be bad this year.

I have been a follower of this team since the 1960s. Watched some amazing teams. Those Monday nights where we were unbeatable. Amazing teams, and amazing wins.

We haven’t done shit for over 20 years. This is the biggest joke in the fcking league. I lived in Boston for 18 years through the Patriots being basically Super Bowl contenders every year and everyone asked me why don’t just change teams I said some Raiders fan we don’t change teams.

Well, I’m not changing teams, but I see no point in watching this shit anymore, does this ruin the day for you already? The text are coming in from my friends same thing every week every month every year

All I can say is, I’m glad the NHL is back

Good luck gentlemen maybe I’ll come back after that shithead piece of crap that owns the team sells it but until then I’m done with this fcking team. I wasted too much of my fcking life worrying about these fcking crap players. Bullshit coaches bullshit moves.

fck them and fck Mark Davis

You don’t have to bother to reply you can delete this really don’t care logging out now. Maybe I’ll be back in a few years after the team is sold.
Had to watch Mendoza play. The rest of it stands. Glad i made such an impression on your sad little life, wow!

The way the ball comes off Mendoza’s arm is starter nfl caliber. Big, big difference from AOC who literally at this point has zero trade value.
For his first start ever, nothing world shaking but solid for our number one. He’s going to get better and I love the command he had on the field.

Eichenberg, Laube and Tokyo stand out as obvious goodbyes, probably Hemby too.

Expected more from Crawford and McCoy, but hey, first game.

Cousins looked good but the D looked awful. The thing that stood out was the lopsided amount of penalties. Just why.

We have just begun, nobody thought we’d be great first preseason game.

The defense was alarmingly bad, from the start. That was Jacoby Brissett and Gardner Menshew flawlessly destroying us out there.

Had a great time being back in the stadium!

One observation from behind the bench (should have taken a picture is how much bigger Mike Washington is than the rest of the RB room. The guy is massive in person, particularly for a RB

I’m worried about the defensive line. How many snaps did Koonce plate?

Brady and Spytek pregame

McCoy hasn’t played football in almost two years, this is his first game back and its at NFL speed coming off major knee surgery. His mishaps are fixable, he just needs learn how to turn his head faster at the goal line. I’m not concerned about McCoy as much as I am Porter who is in his 2nd year and has NFL game experience. He should have broken up that pass in the end zone on the 1st drive. I actually think this is a play McCoy will make as he gets more game experience later in the season..
