What’s Cookin' on Gameday 2025
In the vein of what's cooking with Scotman and Attyla.
As in years past, the 2025 What’s Cookin for Gameday thread. Post each week what you’re having on Gameday, drinks, appetizers etc,
Last year’s turned up some good stuff, so keep these in mind:
* Each week post what you are having for food, aka main dish.
* Appetizers?
* Desert?
* Each week what are you drinking?
* Include what you're having if you're tailgating.
* If you are ordering, what are you ordering?
* Brunch, you name it.

Tater Tot casserole, Ice Cream and Key Lime pie. Kentucky Mule's for the wife IPA for me.
It's my wife's birthday and she has been on a gluten free diet since before it was a thing. This is her cheat day for the entire year and tater tots are one of her favorites.
Weird tradition in my family we do not do cake for birthdays but rather pie.

Who likes smoked cheese?
Cold smoking a few wedges of gouda and a few sticks of cheddar over apple pellets. I'll let them ride for 2.5-3 hours and then vacuum seal and stow away for a few weeks

I love smoked cheese. That sounds amazing. I'll "smoke" take and bake pizzas on my Traeger for that same reason.Xramfan wrote: Thu Dec 18, 2025 11:26 am Who likes smoked cheese?

Typically I vacuum seal the cheese and let sit and settle down for about a month before eating. Need to give that smoke some time to disperse and mellow

It works really well but it is important to rotate the pizza a 1/4 turn every 5 min.Xramfan wrote: Thu Dec 18, 2025 6:08 pm That is something I’m curious to try.
