Joshua Ballinger Lippincott Rosen.
Better “Wall St.” name than QB name.

NoThanksSir wrote: Fri Feb 27, 2026 5:32 pm Agree, it was a non-system. It is pretty much the antithesis of West Coast offense. WCO describes the sub package, motion, and multiple concepts. Perkins is just "mesh." Whatever Belichick, Weis, and McDaniels were running were clearly a modernized hybrid of the two. It's also why Brady was the lynchpin in that entire dynasty. He was probably stifled by it, tbh. Could have had far better success with a legit Walsh disciple.
Far better? So winning seven Super bowls, dominating the NFL for two decades, and establishing himself as arguably the greatest player of all time is a career marred by what could have been? You’re delusional

It feels like people sometimes search for a distinct single reason for why someone succeeded (or failed). Like "it's all Brady". Or "it's all Andy Reid". Or "it's all Geno Smith" if you're talking about failure. The truth is almost always a combination of factors and sometimes it's a coach and player who happen to work well together - when either one might not work as well in another situation.

Personally I'd give coaching a lot of credit for Brady's success, and I know that Brady gives coaching a lot of credit. But just being coachable is a valuable trait too.

I agree, in football there are so many contributing factors to winning and losing that overemphasizing the quality of contribution from any one player or coach tends to downplay or negate the critical contribution of others. That being said football coaches play a more significant role in the success or failure of a team than any other sport.

Bigger hands than Tom Brady and Big Ben.

We’re getting a Josh Allen build with Peyton intangibles, mentored by Tom Brady. We’re so back!
