at the other side ... Maxx's side ... he's going to give 200% effort no matter what. 200% as a Raven, 200% as a Las Vegas Raider (even if he doesn't want to be a Raider), 200% as a Chiefs player ... he will bring it, as long as he is physically able.

I pity the teams that have to play against him.

Why? We were 3-14 with him giving 1000 percent, nobody really fears him.

C’mon, take the best deal. We can figure out how to f[raiders_icon]ck them at a later date.

If we can still afford the Linderbaum contract by hook or by crook and NOW they offer him more money does he go back? If he does that calls to question his character.

-He agreed to a contract already

-THEY traded for Maxx knowing they weren't going to be able to match other teams offers for him

-That in turn means having Maxx Crosby on there team was more important then him

-We wanted him so badly we made him the highest paid center in the NFL by a long shot. Higher than what they were asking for.

Does he now renege on that deal and go back to the team whose priority's were elsewhere? If he does that is a bad look.

If they did, every team would pull this bullshit. f[raiders_icon]ck Ravens. Trade Maxx to someone in the Ravens division.

Mark is weak but Brady has a lot of connections. Ravens may end up regretting this.

Yeah there is something bigger than pure rationality when it comes to the NFL. Just the same as you don’t trade elite players within your division… I don’t know that you give a discount to a team that just f[raiders_icon]cked you regardless of your other options.

I just don’t see Spytek or Brady letting the Ravens back out on a physical and then ask to pay less for the player when they made it clear they wanted 2 1s. I think Tom is probably in “f[raiders_icon]ck them” mode.

Was listening to Tom Telesco on the possibility that Linderbaum backs out. He finds that very unlikely, says agents don’t agree to deals and then back out a day or two later.

I just stumbled on to this news... I couldn't help but laugh. Things were going wayyyy to well. the universe couldn't allow it and had to balance the scales somehow, I guess.

very curious to see how this is navigated... how many of those free agents would have to be sacrificed if Spytek is unable to find a suitable trade partner? One? Two?

You could be right, plus they may just think they can do better by waiting, assuming the hypothetical even exists.
