I'd take Kyler in a heartbeat over those two. Kyler isn't a star but Geno & AR have no business being in the league

We got Jets Geno unfortunately. He is truly awful. He is done as a starter in the league. I dont know what magic the seahawks cooked up to make him look solid the last three years.

Is anyone else terrified for what 2026 will bring? I’m thinking Anthony Richardson seems logical based on this organization’s inclination to bring in bad QB’s.
The worst would be to bring him as a hybrid type of player. We tried this before with Whatshisname--the guy who could only throw to the right side of the field, and it was a shit-fest. Other teams have tried to turn guys like him into WRs, and none of that b.s. has worked out.

He's just not a good player.

So I was listening to Sirius NFL football talk this morning and they were discussing Garrett breaking the sack record and how he must be salivating for the Raiders matchup where they were estimating another 4 or 5 sack game. When people watch the Raiders this season they come away thinking it’s the worst pass blocking OL in the league as it looks like Smith is continually under siege. Anyway, Wilcots was talking about how bad the Raiders OL was and was absolutely stunned to be corrected that the Raiders pass block win rate is 21st in the league. We know the offensive line is bad but it’s clear that Geno Smith has played a role in making the pass blocking look worse than it really is. Just like he made the Seahawks OL look worse than it really was as the Hawks are magically the 6th best pass blocking OL this season. It’s clear that Smith can only function behind a top pass blocking OL and even at that he’s going to make them look worse than they are. The bottom line is that Geno is holding the offense back.

I have seen gaps between the tackle and guard that Mahomes, Herbert and even Nix would instantly slip through to extend plays that Geno doesn't even know is there. He just stands back there and waits.

Yeah. He doesn't have the fastest wheels in the world, but there have been many times when he could've taken off and gained a few yards instead of taking a sack or throwing a pick. And when he does run, he's not willing to put his head down and get that last yard or two. I don't care if he's older and wants to protect himself. When you're getting paid tens of millions of dollars per year to play football, that's part of the job.

14-30 record

The QBs' TD-INT ratio

AOC: 20-11
Jimmy G: 7-9
Hoyer: 0-2
Riddler: 2-2
Minshew: 9-10
Smith: 12-13

"The same production at a fraction of the cost was the mantra."

Looking at the numbers and you could see why some fans like AOC.
We had the Riddler! At least he could make you laugh.

Head coach Pete Carroll still has confidence in Smith and is going to stick with him at the quarterback position.

"I thought Geno [Smith] played really well for the most part on Monday Night, and he was under pressure the entire time in the drop-back game. He had to move," said Pete Carroll. "It wasn't perfect. He did jam a ball in there on the interception that got tipped, which he could have checked down. We're really trying to take advantage of the check downs and get the ball to Ashton [Jeanty] as much as we can."

Smh. HOF Coach…and stubborn old fool.

Yeah, to hear him after the games you would think everything is normal and they're right on track.
