It’s that time of year for us to dog fight about who’s college team is better.
Best way to start it out IMO is with the preseason coaches poll that just dropped:
Preseason Coaches Poll
1.Ohio State
2.Oregon
3.Georgia
4.Texas
5.Notre Dame
6.Indiana
7.Miami
8.Texas A&M
9.Oklahoma
10.Ole Miss
11.Alabama
12.Texas Tech
13.LSU
14.USC
15.BYU
16.Michigan
17.Penn State
18.Tennessee
19.Washington
20.SMU
21.Utah
22.Iowa
23.Clemson
24.Houston
25.Missouri
We all know who are backing after that last few years but the 2026 season is almost upon us.
For my own part, this year is special I’m attending my first home game ever at ND on 9/12.

Because CFB doesn't have enough problems...
That "win" needs a great big * next to it...

This shot used here they have have the play camera on the left and another camera to the right showing the clock, how can we tell those are in-sync?
Because the broadcast does have all of this in one camera shot, the ball and the clock all together and the ball isn't quite to the WR and it states 0:00.
Is this gaslighting?

No, not gaslighting. The clocks were different. Here's the protocol that was not followed:
"The official time for all college football games is the time displayed on the in-stadium game clock," the memo said. "When a replay review requires time to be restored or otherwise adjusted, the replay official's decision will be based on the embedded game clock contained within the program feed. If the broadcaster is unable to provide an embedded game clock, the replay official will use the game-clock graphic displayed as part of the broadcast feed.
"This timing protocol should be followed consistently at all institutions and game sites."
They should not have put that second back on the clock. They are blaming Big 10 officials for the decision to restore the second. (Probably some UM grad/fan.) Bottom line, they are following the rule that says they can't change the outcome of the game. Not a good look.

The same * that you guys should have from the 2001 game? Sorry but Sparty fans are the last people that should be commenting about having or not having one second left from the home clock operator

Just stating facts. With a little bit of snark--well deserved.

Kansas St has not lost yet so I guess we are the better team. Isn't that how it works?
