taking a running back that high when the team sucked was a mistake...maybe oline of nt/dt would have been better, maybe a wr1
Pretty steep price for another Randy Jordan (nothing against Randy, he was a favorite of mine).
I saw some post on Xwitter last week that if that tall ass NBA player Wemby laid on the ground, he’d be longer than Jeanty’s average ypc.
i dont disagree with you but its still a huge mistake taking a rb at #6 on a team full of holes ...like when nyg took saquonGoodTimeCharlie wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2026 4:41 pm I saw some post on Xwitter last week that if that tall ass NBA player Wemby laid on the ground, he’d be longer than Jeanty’s average ypc.
Jeanty may not be the perfect system fit, he’s a Carroll pick after all, but hard to know what we have without guards and a WR #1.
Let’s not forget, Year 1 on rebuilding one of the very worst franchises (since 2002) in the NFL.
#6 draft pick on a 3rd down back
Oh I agree, it’s a luxury pick. One of many blue plate special offers Carroll saddled us with. From what I’ve read, if Spy was allowed to draft we would have had a lineman, DT or OT.mstrbass2000 wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2026 4:44 pm i dont disagree with you but its still a huge mistake taking a rb at #6 on a team full of holes ...like when nyg took saquon
anthing excepte for tight end would have helped this team so much this yr (oline,wr,dline/dt/nt)GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2026 4:50 pm Oh I agree, it’s a luxury pick. That and they are typically available in the mid to late first round and accessible to teams playing well. Josh Jacobs was selected 24th.chucker wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2026 4:59 pm The problem with investing that heavily in a RB when you don't have a franchise QB is that you're blowing some of his most productive years when you're not ready to compete. And you don't usually see a lot of productive years from RBs.
No surprise that a HOF bound fella can just flat age-out. We saw it before with our very own Big Al. Guys just refuse reality and hope they can ego-vibe the whole team into their fantasy vision.chucker wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2026 4:59 pm The problem with investing that heavily in a RB when you don't have a franchise QB is that you're blowing some of his most productive years when you're not ready to compete. I don’t mind rebuilding. It’s been long due. By the look of things we finally are. Carroll was the last gasp of doing shit the wrong f[raiders_icon]cking way.
That's funny as Hell, and very disturbing at the same time;)
