Oh yeah- there’s a game today. I almost forgot. Unfortunately I think we lower our draft picks and win one in a squeaker. Gino will have his best game since game #1. Yes a contrarian feeling. I think we might see a rookie offensive lineman or two play also. What can that hurt at this point? Raider 20 Browns 17.
I am playing golf so will check it out when I get home.

They inherited a 4 win team with. No qb and a very bad oline and 1 star on defense. Gotta give em time to build a team or they can hire yet another coach, go in a different direction and turn the roster over yet again.
No stability in coaching is the Raiders #1 problem since 2000.
This is the problem.
25 yrs ÷ 15 HCs = a new HC every 1.6 years.
They don't develop teams under one vision.
Carroll 2025
Pierce
McDaniels
Bisaccia
Gruden
JDR
Sparano
DA
Hue
Cable
Kiffin
Shell
Norv
Callahan
Gruden2000
How many of those coaches were worth a damn? Zero. Our problem has been the lack of a franchise QB. Period.

He didn't. The guy was one Isiah Bond slip away from throwing for 2 TDs with 200 yards passing in his very first game.
no, he was not. And the one TD he did throw was a throw behind the line of scrimmage and the receiver was actually the reason Sanders had any respectable yards at all. 66 of his yards was all on Sampson
Watch a game just once and you will know he did not establish himself as anything in that game. Without that nifty run by Sampson, he shit the bed.

Sanders got his first win in his first start against us. The real test will be next game which I have a feeling will bring him back down to planet earth.
I’m not hating on the guy but he sure seems a little arrogant. Maybe I’m confusing it for confidence.

he connected just over 50% and had that ugly pick. His one TD was all on Sampson. Yes he gets the win, but I was told this was the game that was going to establish Sanders as the Browns franchise QB. It did not. It established he can beat a really bad team if he has a ton of help. Sanders, on paper gets the W, in reality, he did very little to win that game. Judkins and Sampson along with that defense won the game. Our Oline with the assist.

Wasn’t arguing your point at all. I couldn’t agree more actually.

Lets hope Cleveland thinks he rocks so they don't try to get a qb in the next draft. Don't they have draft capital to move up?

I dont believe a team can develop a franchise QB with a new coach every 1.6 years.
AOC? 3 years, 3HCs, 3 OCs. Now 4 OCs
Players are asking what are we doing?
What playbook would you like us to learn?

It did. Sanders will start for the rest of the year. Bottom line.

Judkins got clamped. You don't know what you're talking about.

You claimed the Raiders would win this game. You were wrong.

JDR was alright to good enough. Reggie was meh to occasionally acceptable. Neither were exceptional in any way, but what made them “special” was that JDR was the HC and presided over HC duties, while Reggie was the GM performing GM duties. This was back when Doofus was innocent enough to not make the leap of believing he knows a f[raiders_icon]cking thing about being the owner of a professional football franchise. (Madden was a major catalyst for the hires.)
Then Doofus got to thinkin’, hired his make believe cool brother, and he’s been shittin’ the bed ever since. Not many things more destructively stupid than an idiot made rich without having broke a bead of sweat.
Kiffin was just too damn young. Needed to earn a few credits from the School of Hard Knocks. Though I’m not sure how much his offense translates to the pros. I do think he could at least mirror say a Glanville in the Pros.
The rest, dogshit.

Jets are sittin’ on a Fort Knox of draft capital. Unless we’re first, Jets are getting to pick who they want.

Show me where I claimed they would win. I said I want a win. I said we should win. I never said we would win. Judkins got two scores. He may not have gotten a ton of yards but he got the ugly yards they needed.
And Sanders may not even start in two weeks. You seem to think being forced to start is the same as they want him to start. He looked like shit for most of that game. You know jack shit about football. Saying shit like he will start the rest of the year based on yesterday? f[raiders_icon]ck that noise. And you said it would establish him as their FRANCHISE QB. You do not know shit. That game established nothing of the kind. 50% completion, Sampson getting almost half his yardage on his back, not because of Sanders.

Exactly, that hierarchy was broken when Mark stepped in and began hiring the HC, which gave the HC more power than the GM in personnel decisions. Mayock? Telesco - AP, I would think Telesco had more power over the draft due to AP's lack of any experience, but that was 1 year. In the least AP was willing to play the top 3 picks.
